Job Description 
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all guests and colleagues using the pool facilities at Raffles &amp; Fairmont Doha. The role requires constant vigilance, excellent swimming ability, and a high standard of guest service in line with the standards of Raffles &amp; Fairmont brands.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintain continuous surveillance of all pool areas to prevent accidents and injuries</li><li>
Enforce hotel pool rules in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>
Respond immediately and effectively to emergency situations, including water rescues and first aid</li><li>
Administer CPR, first aid, or emergency care when required and coordinate with medical services if necessary</li><li>
Conduct routine safety checks of pool areas, and lifesaving equipment</li><li>
Provide a warm, welcoming, and attentive service to all guests, ensuring a luxury guest experience</li><li>
Assist guests with poolside needs, including towel distribution, sunbed arrangement, and general inquiries</li><li>
Promote a family-friendly, safe, and relaxing environment for guests of all ages</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool, and lifeguard stations</li><li>
Ensure lifesaving equipment is functional and properly positioned at all times</li><li>

Qualifications

Valid Lifeguard Certification (internationally recognized)</li><li>

This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent guest experience while ensuring swimmers are adhering to waterpark rules and regulations.<ul><li>
Supervise and ensure the safety of swimmers.</li><li>
Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.</li><li>
Inspect facilities for cleanliness; complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout the shift.</li><li>
Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practices; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations.</li><li>
Follow emergency action plans and procedures when required.</li><li>
Attend and participate in regular training sessions to maintain and enhance lifeguard skills, with a focus on shallow water safety.</li><li>

Your day-to-day:

As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
