Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:<ul><li>
Perform guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.</li><li>
Manage reservations and ensure all guest information is accurate in the system.</li><li>
Assist with guest needs, including wake-up calls, room changes, and additional amenities.</li><li>
Handle guest issues professionally and work to resolve them promptly.</li></ul>
Night Audit Functions:<ul><li>
Conduct a detailed audit of financial transactions, including guest folios, cash handling, and credit card charges.</li><li>
Reconcile daily revenue, verify postings, and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>
Prepare and distribute reports such as the Night Audit Report, Revenue Report, and Occupancy Report for hotel management.</li><li>
Close the day's financial activities and generate the Daily Flash Report.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures across all operating departments.</li></ul>
Accounting and Financial Controls:<ul><li>
Maintain financial records, including guest ledgers, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.</li><li>
Process and review invoices for accuracy before forwarding them to accounting.</li><li>
Assist with month-end financial reporting and statements.</li><li>
Monitor and control cash handling procedures, ensuring secure storage of funds.</li><li>
Follow all hotel accounting and financial policies, procedures, and controls.</li></ul>
Night Safety and Security:<ul><li>
Maintain a secure environment for guests and employees throughout the night.</li><li>
Monitor hotel access and ensure the safety of property and guests.</li><li>
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or security concerns in accordance with hotel protocols.</li></ul>
Responsible Business Practices:<ul><li>
Adhere to Maya Hotels' policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics.</li><li>

Responsibilities include balancing duties, managing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports.
