</b></p><p>The Clinical Assistant (CA) is managed by the Patient Care Manager. CA person is under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Clinical Assistant participates in providing total direct patient care in a team approach, and must have the ability to work therapeutically in a community of emotionally and/or chemically dependent patients. Primary responsibilities include: providing basic patient care and procedures, observing patients and maintaining patient safety, assisting patients with activities of daily living (both physical and emotional), obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs to appropriate staff members, and meeting team objectives. Greets and assists patients during check-in and check-out, ensuring accuracy in patient information and documentation.</li><li>
Schedules patient appointments, obtains pre-certifications, and coordinates with providers for testing, procedures, and surgeries.</li><li>
Collects time-of-service (TOS) payments, issues invoices, and processes financial transactions in compliance with clinic policies.</li><li>
Maintains and updates patient records, ensures quality control, and addresses gaps in care.</li><li>
Answers phone calls, responds to inquiries regarding clinic policies and services, and routes messages appropriately.</li><li>
Enters charges and codes invoices for billing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.</li><li>
Monitors and maintains office and clinic supply inventory, placing orders as needed to ensure availability of necessary materials.</li><li>
Assists in handling physician call schedules, provider reimbursements, and license renewals.</li><li>
Supports clinical staff as needed, including assisting in triage and coordinating patient referrals.</li><li>
Ensures a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
0-2 years of experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare administrative setting required</li></ul><p><b>
