The On-Air Co-Host is responsible for creating, producing, and communicating via broadcast and online distribution systems, spiritually encouraging, Christian based content and conversation, interacting with listeners, news, interviews, weather, traffic, devotionals, and other matters of interest. Represents the ministry to the community in multiple ways &ndash; in-person and on-location. Your day will be spent engaging listeners with on-air topics that matter to their lives and to the community at large. Prior experience hosting an on-air talk show or music show is a plus, but not required. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>
Host a regular program on broadcast and online platforms.</li><li>
Produces and electronically edits segments for air; uses editing tools in order to maintain high standards of sound quality.</li><li>
Produces and edits Underwriting, Promotional, and Public Service Announcements, as needed.</li><li>
Works weekends, early morning, or evening work hours as needed.</li><li>
Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div>
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</div><ul><li>
Associate Degree; two (2) years of related media experience (radio, TV, podcast or similar), as well as working with professional audio equipment, computers, portable recording devices, and editing software; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.</li><li>
Knowledge of radio station operations, journalistic and broadcast standards, and FCC rules.</li><li>
Ability to write and orally deliver content on-air, live and recorded.</li><li>
Skill in working with professional audio equipment, computers, portable recording devices, and editing software for broadcasts.</li><li>
Skill in organizing, managing time, and prioritizing.</li><li>
Ability to be accurate and detailed oriented, master new broadcast technologies, meet deadlines, be self-motivated, use good judgment, multi-task, be self-motivated, be creative, and work independently as well as with others.</li></ul><div></div><div>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</div><div>
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.</div><div></div><div>
