The On-Air Co-Host is responsible for creating, producing, and communicating via broadcast and online distribution systems, spiritually encouraging, Christian based content and conversation, interacting with listeners, news, interviews, weather, traffic, devotionals, and other matters of interest. Represents the ministry to the community in multiple ways &ndash; in-person and on-location. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><ul><li>
Maintains an engaging, conversational on-air presence at all times.</li><li>
Plays music, spots, and various elements on the air from numerous pieces of equipment and software delivering compelling, interactive, spiritually uplifting, and entertaining live content in real-time over the air from our broadcast studios and at times on location.</li><li>
In the absence of the lead host, the co-host must be capable of assuming all on-air responsibilities; either solo, or with a temporary co-host.</li><li>

Collaborates with co-host, producer, assistant and program director to create timely program content.</li><li>

Attends and guides daily production meetings &ndash; listening to and analyzing the days delivered content and prepares for the following day.</li><li>
Operates numerous pieces of office, radio broadcast, remote broadcast, and audio editing software and equipment.</li><li>

Develops creative contests and issues prizes to winners in accordance with FCC regulations and AGC procedures.</li><li>
Develops, produces, and distributes written, video, audio, and graphical content daily via a variety of social media platforms and websites.</li><li>
Adjusts content at the direction of Program Director, research and feedback.</li><li>
Considers the target audience in all content decisions and delivery.</li><li>
Invests time in getting to know the target audience and spends time with them at station events, by giving station tours, by talking with them in the online (incoming and outgoing).</li><li>
Communicates via email, phone, and in person with financial donors, and people of influence.</li><li>
Participates in designing and executing ways of growing our listener contact list.</li><li>
Ensures that the WGTS 91.9 transmitter is operating within FCC-determined parameters, adjusting transmitter power when necessary or shutting down the system completely if conditions require it.</li><li>
Runs broadcasting tests as requested by the chief engineer.</li><li>
Ensures FCC compliance (e.g. IDs, profanity).</li><li>
Supports the engineering team as needed when troubleshooting studio equipment issues.</li><li>
Reports dead air or system problems immediately.</li><li>
Develops a general understanding of the central equipment rack as requested by the chief engineer.</li><li>
Monitors the on-air broadcast and the online Netcast at the beginning of each shift for delivery stability.</li><li>
Monitors for EAS alerts; record and air as directed.</li><li>
Serves as spokesperson for WGTS 91.9 at partner meetings and events as requested.</li><li>
Assists in other media activities as requested.</li><li>
Attends and presents at various fundraising events, including networking with donors.</li><li>

Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities<br>

The Video Writer and Producer is an individual contributor responsible for contributing to the creative vision, instructional integrity, and production quality of video-based learning experiences. This role leads scripting, and on-screen production, collaborating closely with SMEs, technical writers, and learning designers to ensure video content effectively supports adult learning objectives. The position also serves as a producer and on-set director, overseeing planning, talent coaching, quality assurance, and feedback incorporation while ensuring smooth execution of each shoot.</p><p>
NCCER is looking for a creative, committed, organized, and detail-oriented Lead Video Writer and Producer with a passion for helping to deliver self-paced, mobile-friendly training courses for construction craft professionals. Your contributions will help us develop courses used for just-in-time training, upskilling, and cross-skilling to meet their specific project or organizational needs.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>
1. Leads scripting</b></p><ul><li>
Designs each video for content and visual efficacy.</li><li>
Works closely with technical writers and SMEs to gather the details that matter.</li><li>
Collaborates with other learning design specialists and makes recommendations to ensure that the video elements of the course lay the foundation upon which other activities build meaningfully.</li></ul><p><b>
2. Serves as producer for each assigned craft</b></p><ul><li>
Responsible for understanding learning goals, scripting, developing shot lists, identifying graphics and b-roll needs, sourcing graphics and b-roll, directing on-site film work, and some editing.</li><li>
Receives and manages feedback related to video elements. Leads QA/QC related to the technical content of the videos.</li></ul><p><b>
 3. Helps to screen on-air talent, includes:</b></p><ul><li>
Evaluating potential on-air instructors for their knowledge, communication skills, and ability to effectively convey technical information to the audience.</li><li>
Conducting interviews or auditions to assess the on-air talent's suitability for the content.</li></ul><p>
<b> 4. Ensures logistics and pre-production planning for each shoot, includes:</b></p><ul><li>
Communicating and coordinating with on-air talent, industry partners, and SMEs to coordinate their availability.</li><li>
Confirming the availability of all equipment and materials needed on set.</li><li>
Maintaining a smooth production process (your partner video team will manage the logistics of video equipment).</li><li>
Collaborating with our assistant project manager to establish schedules and locations for video shoots.</li><li>
Identifying and evaluating potential filming locations that align with the content of the videos, considering factors such as safety, accessibility, lighting conditions, and the overall aesthetic appeal of the location.</li><li>
