On an Average Day you Will:

Follow up on phone calls by either directing the phone call to the DPCS, RN Clinical Supervisor/Manager or RN Case Manager and/or taking care of the need immediately per scope of practice</li><li>

Re-fill prescriptions, order supplies and DME, and assist in any other coordination needed by the patients and families</li><li>

Receive start-of-shift report and give end-of-shift report in accordance with the location workflow</li><li>

<ul><li>Must be an LVN/LPN with knowledge of hospice, telephone triage preferred</li><li>
Must have a current licensure in good standing with the state</li><li>
Must understand the philosophy of hospice concept and understand needs of the terminally ill</li><li>
Must be flexible in work hours</li><li>
Must show aptitude of computer data entry and the use of current software systems, such as word processing, spreadsheets and projects</li><li>
Must possess the ability to deal with stressful situations, as well as grieving families</li><li>
Must demonstrate nursing skills per competency checklist</li><li>
Must demonstrate a willingness to maintain comprehensive working knowledge regarding information systems and applicable software programs</li><li>

About the role
The Steward position works in the kitchen area operating the dishwashing machines and related areas for cleaning china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils in the food and beverage areas. They will also be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and wiping down counter surfaces.
