This onsite leadership role is accountable for driving operational excellence across aerospace production and repair activities. The Director of Operations ensures that manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions execute in alignment with customer commitments, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This position owns the end-to-end operational strategy, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while enabling growth in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
 
This role requires deep expertise in investment casting operations, including direct experience with foundry processes and integration with downstream machining, coating, and finishing operations.
 
The role requires close collaboration with planning, supply chain, engineering, finance, and business development teams to deliver an integrated operational plan. This is a critical leadership position for an experienced operations professional capable of leading teams, optimizing processes, and delivering results.
 
Lead CCTC’s operations to deliver safe, compliant, high yield, on time production of FAA PMA HPT blades and related processes. Own site P&L, SIOP execution, and daily tier management; orchestrate Quality, Engineering, CI, EHS, Finance, HRBP, Customer Solutions, and Regional Purchasing to meet Parts COE goals.
 Key Responsibilities

 The Role
 
 
 
 
 Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Director of Manufacturing Operations will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing, assembly, production planning, inventory management, quality, shipping, and supply chain activities within the US operation. The role will combine strategic leadership with hands-on operational management and will be instrumental in driving efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for all manufacturing operations, with full accountability for production performance, safety, environmental sustainability, facilities and maintenance, and continuous improvement. This role ensures safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient operations while building the systems, capabilities, and culture required to support long‑term business growth and operational excellence.
The Director of Operations champions a safety‑first culture, drives operational performance against key metrics, ensures effective asset and facilities management, and embeds continuous improvement into daily operations. The role partners closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality, as well as Site Business Leadership to align operational execution with enterprise strategy and customer requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Production &amp; Operational Execution<ul><li>
Lead all production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.</li><li>
Establish and sustain operating standards, daily management routines, and performance metrics.</li><li>
Ensure operational readiness, capacity alignment, and workforce effectiveness to meet current and future demand.</li></ul></li><li>
Safety, Environmental &amp; Sustainability Leadership<ul><li>
Champion a zero‑harm safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li><li>
Lead integration of environmental sustainability into operations, including energy, waste, emissions, and resource management initiatives.</li><li>
Ensure EHS and sustainability principles are embedded into processes, standard work, training, and improvement activities.</li></ul></li><li>
Facilities &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>
Provide leadership for facilities and maintenance functions to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.</li><li>
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime, asset life, and facility reliability.</li><li>
Oversee facility planning, infrastructure health, and coordination of capital investments and upgrades.</li></ul></li><li>
Continuous Improvement &amp; Operational Excellence<ul><li>
Lead the deployment of continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste, improve flow, and increase productivity.</li><li>
Drive structured problem‑solving, standard work, and visual management across operations.</li><li>
Sponsor kaizen events, cross‑functional improvement initiatives, and capability building throughout the organization.</li></ul></li><li>
People &amp; Leadership Development<ul><li>
Build, develop, and coach high‑performing operations, maintenance, EHS, and CI leadership teams.</li><li>

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws. Strategy &amp; Cross‑Functional Collaboration<ul><li>
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business leaders to align operational priorities with strategic objectives.</li><li>

Contribute to site and enterprise strategy, operational planning, and capital investment decisions.</li></ul></li><li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>

10+ years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.</li><li>
5+ years in a team leadership role managing professionals and managers in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Track record of improving operational performance metrics across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.</li><li>
Experience leading change management and cultural improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build high‑performing teams, including succession planning and capability development.</li><li>
Strong cross‑functional leadership experience partnering with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Business Leadership.</li><li>
Preferred Experience:<ul><li>
Experience with industrial quality systems (ISO, IATF).</li><li>
Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments.</li><li>
Prior responsibility for capital investment planning and execution.</li></ul></li></ul>

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.

The compensation range for this position is $156,000.00 - $234,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
