<div>We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our Logistics Services team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Scope :
The Assistant Manager, Delivery, is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the delivery unit. This role ensures that delivery processes run smoothly, resources are utilized efficiently, and customer satisfaction is maintained. The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in executing operational strategies, managing delivery teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Responsibilities:
Financial
<ul><li>Assist the Operations Manager in coordinating and managing daily delivery activities to avoid incurring costs to the client and/or TG.
</li><li>Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
</li><li>Oversee the allocation and use of delivery resources, including vehicles and personnel.
</li><li>Assist in managing the budget for the delivery operations.
</li><li>Oversee the maintenance and management of delivery vehicles and equipment.
</li><li>Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet delivery demands, and ensure accurate staff allocations accordingly.
</li></ul>Customer
<ul><li>Address and resolve customer complaints and delivery-related issues promptly and effectively.
</li><li>Maintain strong communication with customers to provide updates on delivery status and handle inquiries.
</li><li>Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for service improvement.
</li><li>Consistently achieve and exceed the delivery services network targets.
</li><li>Work closely with other departments, such as Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouse, to ensure coordinated operations.
</li><li>Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and resolve operational challenges.
</li><li>Support the Operations Manager in implementing company-wide initiatives and strategies.
</li></ul>Process
<ul><li>Supervise delivery personnel, including drivers and courier dispatchers, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines.
</li><li>Organize and provide training and support to new and existing delivery staff.
</li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
</li><li>Prepare and submit regular reports on delivery performance, operational issues, and team activities.
</li><li>Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including route information, delivery times, and any incidents.
</li><li>Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.

</li><li>Conduct regular safety training and briefings for delivery personnel.

</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or delivery operations.

<div>Position Purpose:
Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) will gain hands-on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of a Operations Assistant Store Manager at The Home Depot. The OAM - IT will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development. Throughout their training, OAMs in Training will become familiar with Manager on Duty duties and learn to manage various aspects of the store, including associates, sales, customer service, safety standards, product availability, store presentation, and overall profitability. They will learn to oversee the smooth operation of several key areas, including the Customer Service Desk, Receiving, Tool Rental, Order Fulfillment, Lot Loaders, and the Back Office. OASMs in Training will collaborate with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), and operational field teams and learn to develop and implement strategies that boost sales and profitability, creating actionable game plans for departmental success, and ensuring smooth department operations. OASM - ITs are expected to lead by example. Additionally, they have a responsibility to uphold, maintain, and support all lawful company policies and positions. During the OASM-IT training period, which will be up to 6 weeks, you will be learning to execute OASM key responsibilities. 
 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
50% Training and Preparing for Assistant Manager Position - Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of retail store management, including operations, customer service, sales &amp; profitability, and company policies and procedures. Learn and demonstrate tactics to support key accountability: staffing and scheduling, identifying and resolving stock deficiencies, supervisor associates in selling behaviors, resolving customer issues and concerns, and supporting service needs for both installed sales/special orders and product sales. Learn and demonstrate the performance management process, to include review of associate performance and how to execute the associate disciplinary process when necessary. Complete all assigned training modules and assessments.</li><li>
15% Customer Experience - Supervising Associates in the selling effort and lead GET culture and set the example. Drive customer service and associate engagement through the store; ensure Customer concerns are solved effectively and take necessary actions to resolve situations promptly</li><li>
15% Sales and Productivity - Work with key partners to plan merchandise placement, signing and support stock integrity through inventory management. ASMs in Training will learn how to maintain and operate all store equipment and systems as well as how to manage daily financial operations.</li><li>
10% Operations Management - Perform Opening, Closing MOD and other whole store focus responsibilities. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and hold associates accountable for following all Company policies and procedures. Command of store standard operating procedures (SOP&rsquo;s), especially those involving Safety compliance and learn tactics to maintain process accuracy and take steps to mitigate shrink.</li><li>
10% Safety - Ensure self and associates follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines at all times.</li></ul>
