<p><b>ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p>

<li>Operates all types of automatic floor scrubbing machines and high-speed floor buffing machines as part of a floor maintenance program.</li>
<li>Maintains the proper use of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers, and cleaning compounds to differentiate in their use in cleaning floors, toilets, etc., as opposed to food preparation and handling areas where improper cleaning methods will contaminate food prep surfaces and equipment.</li>
<li>Performs general grounds maintenance duties to include snow removal and salting of areas as needed, entrance upkeep, and mowing lawns, as well as ensuring outside premises are always maintained in a clean and orderly condition.</li>
<li>Performs general painting assignments and moving/relocation of furniture throughout campus as needed, conducts general repairs as necessary.</li>
<li>Assists in overseeing the safety and security of all buildings, grounds, and equipment, as well as of the students, faculty and staff; reports safety issues and concerns as observed throughout the campus to supervisor and/or Campus Safety Office.</li>
<li>Serves on campus or system committees and teams.</li>
<li>Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations.</li>

<p><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p>

</p><p></p><p><b><i>Training will occur Monday through Friday on 1st shift, 6am to 4:30pm for up to 2 months depending on your hire date. The actual 2nd shift hours will be 7:30pm to 6am. You must be available for the initial 1st shift training schedule and the 2nd shift work schedule when it begins after the training period.
</i></b></p><p></p><p><b>Key Accountabilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Maintains Supplier QFL (Quality Feedback Loop) issues and creates notifications with pictures of the rejected part and communicates issues with suppliers in a timely manner
</li><li>Oversees parts in salvage area and begins the returns process to suppliers
</li><li>Initiates sort activity and performs dimensional /visual checks on non-conforming material using calipers, dial indicators, height gages, etc.
</li><li>Boroscopes engine critical components, performs dye penetrant test and scopes sealing surfaces for surface defects with proper documentation using PPT (Power Point Presentations).
</li><li>Assists Production Quality with performing root cause analyses and Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycles
</li><li>Contacts supplier to initiate part containment activities and obtains certified material for assembly under the guidance of the Supplier Quality Supervisor (SQS)
</li><li>Generates Quality notifications and lists details in SAP.
</li><li>Requests corrective actions from suppliers using 8D tool under the guidance of the SQS
</li><li>Communicates deviation notifications for defective parts with MTU FN
</li><li>Interprets Geometric Dimensional &amp;Tolerance (GD&amp;T) on very complex drawings and MTU specifications to perform measurements
</li><li>Performs supplier charge back for defective parts via SAP transactions with approval of Supplier Quality Engineers
</li><li>Provides training (e.g. SAP, Quality Systems, Salvage processes etc.) to personnel as specified in the departmental work instructions
</li><li>Closes open notifications in SAP after validating containment activities
</li><li>Performs dummy engine teardown during weekends
</li><li>Performs special projects as may be required and maintains on the job flexibility by providing support in quality, assembly and other production related areas
</li><li>Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.
</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Requirements:
</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED and 2 years in a mechanical, engine or automotive trade school or equivalent Associates Degree; or 5 years of experience in a durable goods assembly or manufacturing environment.

</b></p><ul><li>Achieve points for L4 in the SBP training matrix and 1-year experience working in Quality/Supplier Quality or similar job functions within the last 3 months
</li><li>Advanced ability to interpret control plans, blueprints, build documents, schematic drawings, layouts, documents regarding quality requirements (quality alerts, quality feedback loop checks, etc.)
</li><li>Advanced knowledge and experience with torque equipment and standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gage blocks
</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of GD&amp;T methodology
</li><li>Independent critical thinking needed to ensure accuracy and completeness of SAP transactions
</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of statistical process control methodology
</li><li>Intermediate knowledge in Quality/ Supplier Quality SAP functions
</li><li>Intermediate blueprint reading skills with a high attention to detail
</li><li>Intermediate ability to work independently and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve
</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards
</li><li>Intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
</li><li>Intermediate Oral, written and math skills
</li><li>Basic knowledge of Toyota KATA initiative
</li><li>Basic Knowledge of Computer, software, calculator, and common office equipment
</li><li>Air Guns, calipers, files, hammers, mallets, torque equipment, and adjustable wrenches etc.
</li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull weights in the 20-60 lb. range
</li><li>Operate large hoist systems and obtain appropriate power vehicle license (Flatbed, Hi-Lo &amp; Mule) when necessary
</li><li>Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
