<div>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul><li>Assume quality of care for all patients.
</li><li>Adheres to the highest standards of practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
</li><li>Perform complete eye examination, contact lens fittings and necessary.
</li><li>Participate in the control of and supervision of optometry practice and dispensary in conjunction with the Medical Director and Head of the Department.
</li><li>Keep current with new techniques and philosophies related to all aspects of optometry field.
</li><li>Participate in quality assurance committee meetings provider meetings, and general staff meetings.
</li><li>Assist the Head of the Department in establishing medical polices, quality improvement procedures, evaluating current practices, policies and procedures.
</li><li>Maintains current knowledge of operation procedures and maintenance of new equipment.
</li></ul>OSH ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 General:
<ul><li>Comply with reasonable OSH instructions, policies and safe working procedures
</li><li>Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
</li><li>Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
</li><li>Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone&rsquo;s health and safety
</li><li>Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
</li><li>Report OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues
</li><li>Reduce, Reuse, Recycling of waste as much as possible
</li><li>Attend all OSH Trainings, awareness programs and mock drills.
</li><li>Participates in the OSHMS audits, inspections, ensuring standards are maintained
</li></ul>Specific :
<ul><li>Ensure (OSHAD, DOH, FNAR and NMCSH policy/procedures) Laser Protection guidelines and requirements are applied at all times, for the protection of patients, staff and general public.
</li><li>Ensure that all equipment&rsquo;s are maintain safely.
</li></ul>BCP ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Responsibilities of staff (including all contractors) are:
</li><li>Achieving an adequate level of general awareness regarding business continuity Being aware of the contents of their service areas disaster recovery plan and any specific role or responsibilities allocated.
</li><li>Participating actively in the business continuity programme when required
</li><li>Ensuring information governance standards continue to be applied to data and information during an incident

 <div>QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS
<ul><li>A graduate of Bachelors of Science in Optometry or its equivalent (diploma).
</li><li>At least two (2) years of experience.
</li><li>Currently licensed in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Al Ain UAE.
</li><li>Fluent in spoken &amp; written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.</li></ul></div>
