POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lloyd Sealy Library at John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York (CUNY) seeks a Web and User Experience Librarian to lead and direct our digital presence, commencing in late August 2026. This is a faculty position. The candidate would be appointed at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will manage the Library&rsquo;s website and digital communications. They will work collaboratively with colleagues from all areas of the Library and other stakeholders to identify Library and user needs, and ensure communications are accurate, effective, consistent and accessible. They will participate fully in the Library&rsquo;s reference and instruction program.
All our Library faculty teach and provide reference services and have responsibility for specific Library functions.
Candidates are expected to bring enthusiasm and demonstrated commitment to teaching and to develop and maintain an active research and publication agenda. Senior Psych Care (SPC) provides fully integrative behavioral health services to individuals in Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities across Texas. Nurse Practitioners (NP&rsquo;s) and Physician Assistants (PA&rsquo;s) provide brief cognitive and emotional assessments, psychotropic medication management, and gradual dosage reductions. Our psychotherapy and psychiatric teams collaborate with nursing home staff to provide quality patient care.
