Job Summary:

<ul><li>Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Massachusetts. Ability to speak, read and write English. Ability to follow written and oral directions. 
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one-year clinical experience serving the same age/population mix as served by this facility. Demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization, with knowledge of application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records. Conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
Essential Duties<ul><li>Evaluate patients within twenty-four (24) hours, or 1 business day of physician referral. Qualification
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Occupational Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Occupational Therapy.
Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.
Language Skills
Ability to read technical procedures.
Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers and families.
Mathematical Skills
