<div></div><div>We are seeking a highly dynamic Assembler to join our production team in Zelienople, PA. This is a 1st shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm. The Assembler is responsible for the assembly, testing, and shipment of all required equipment from pre-assembled equipment parts. This position uses various hand and power tools, balancing equipment, burning torches, and measuring instruments to help in the assembly of products.</div><br>

<div></div><div><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></div>
<div></div><ul><li>Receives drawings, sketches, instructions, etc. from the Group Leader for assembling all types of units.</li>
<li>Checks drawings, sketches, and related information for assembly requirements. Determines appropriate work methods and equipment to be used.</li>
<li>Move subassembly parts from storage area to assembly area using material handling equipment. Receives motors, bearings, etc. from the Shipper/Receiver.</li>
<li>Checks items to be assembled for dimensions, hole locations, etc. and for general completeness of fabricating operations.</li>
<li>Assembles, fits, and adjusts component parts to meet the operating requirements of the product, using hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Installs motors and drive units making all necessary electrical connections.</li>
<li>Utilizes the overhead crane and jib hoist in handling and positioning materials.</li>
<li>Prepares and installs various identifying tags.</li>
<li>Starts up unit and tests for proper operation. Make any appropriate adjustments to correct operational problems.</li>
<li>Notifies Group Leader of any difficulties that require changes in parts, defective materials, or inability to assemble.</li>
<li>Uses burning torch and welding unit for simple burning and assembly welding.</li>
<li>Directs and/or instructs Assembler II, Trainees, Laborers, etc., as assigned.</li>
<li>Maintains all equipment and area in a clean and orderly manner.</li>
<li>Performs wheel balancing in assembly area using portable balancing equipment, as necessary.</li>
<li>Follows all safety regulations and requirements in performing various operations.</li>

<div></div><ul><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>A combination of training and strong manufacturing experience</li>
<li>Must take the initiative and be able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the team.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to read and interpret complicated drawings and sketches in determining the appropriate assembly procedures.</li>
<li>Requires the physical and mental ability, as well as the manual dexterity, to assemble various types of subassemblies, assemblies and finished products.</li>
<li>Requires the physical ability and manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools and test equipment.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to climb on ladders, scaffolds, tables, etc. in performing assembly duties and in handling material.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to communicate orally or by written or printed word with supervisors and coworkers.</li>
<li>Performs duties in a congested area where attention is required to ensure the safety of the incumbent and of other employees in that area.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to wear safety boots, hear safety alarms, and lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
