Position Summary:</b><br>

Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area with an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrapped, labeled and readied for shipment in a timely manner observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.<br>

<b>Position Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>
Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.</li><li>
Review work schedule, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Perform a safety check on pallet jack/forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly. Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.</li><li>
Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.</li><li>
Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.</li><li>
Manually place the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Use single and/or double pallets as directed.</li><li>
Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.</li><li>
Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.</li><li>

The Night Assistant Supervisor will work under the direction of the Night Operations Supervisor and is responsible for directing Floor Leads in the coordination of Order Selector activities concerning the receiving, counting, processing, inspecting, replenishing, storing, packing and locating of merchandise. Maintains stock records and schedules. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Ensure that the loads are safe, secure, and within DOT regulations. Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership. Plans and assigns work; implements policies and procedures; increases subordinates’ skills and capabilities; and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Ability to assist the Night Shipping Supervisor and route trucks using Roadnet and Truck-Builder for optimum efficiencies.</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute work schedules for Order Selectors and minimize O/T by determining work procedures and expediting work flow on a weekly basis.</li>
<li>Monitor productivity reports several times a shift and correct any issues that arise.</li>
<li>Print and post productivity report at the end of each shift. Follow up with a consultation with each order selector that is not performing and/or showing signs of improvement.</li>
<li>Study and standardized procedures to improve the efficiency of employees.</li>
<li>Consult with Night Operations Manager daily on progress and ways to improve productivity</li>
<li>Ensure Floor Leads are in their designated work areas</li>
<li>Work with the Floor Leads on keeping the warehouse floor clear of all debris and empty pallets to ensure optimum productivity</li>
<li>Monitor let down and sanitation productivity. Make sure all slots are replenished when necessary and that the warehouse is always clean.</li>
<li>Monitor loading process. Make sure pallets are stacked properly and loaded on to trucks in a timely manner. Manage loader activity.</li>
<li>Operates equipment safely and efficiently as required.</li>
<li>Interact in a positive manner with the entire warehouse team. Promote team-building among employees.</li>
<li>Promote safety and make sure that all employees are working in a safe manner. Strive to create a safety culture with all team members.</li>
<li>Fill out all paperwork completely and properly. Turn in paperwork to appropriate departments for processing by the established guidelines.</li>

<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge on WMS and Dakota voice system.</li>

Essential Job Functions:</b><ul><li>Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk working as In-Store Grocery Shopper is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' on-line orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.</li><li>In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for customers' on-line orders.</li><li>Online Grocery Pick-Up team is responsible for assembling customers' on-line orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at store for pick up.</li><li>In-Store Grocery Shopper will scan and bag orders on the go while following all bagging standards.</li><li>E-Commerce team including Online Grocery Pick- Up associate communicates any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order at time of pick-up.</li><li>Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.</li><li>Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.</li><li>Receive customers' orders from Order Selector according to guidelines, store products in optimal temperature zones.</li><li>Read and follow directions given in the note section</li><li>Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen</li><li>Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations and ensure order accuracy, load order into customers' cars</li><li>Pick-Up Clerk should provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to on-line shopping.</li><li>Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system</li><li>Follow policies and procedures to determine appropriate substitutions in the event of an out-of-stock</li><li>Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment</li><li>Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies and invalid temperature types to the store e-Commerce supervisor</li><li>Inspect equipment and notify store Pick-Up supervisor or other store management of items in need of repair</li><li>Perform required opening and closing procedures</li><li>Assist in training new e-Commerce team members</li><li>Meet/exceed productivity standards</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.</li><li>Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.</li><li>Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.</li><li>Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.</li><li>Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.</li><li>Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.</li></ul></div>
