<p></p><div><ul><li>Oversee and facilitate the operations and services of the <i>Library to Go</i>mobile library unit, identifying areas of need and partnering in the community to develop, publicize, and implement a robust program of library services and resources, while maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and inclusive environment.</li><li>
Provide excellent customer service and engaging hands-on experiences in a mobile version of the library: register citizens for library cards, provide materials to checkout, provide digital services demonstrations, and training.</li><li>
Actively engages with the community by driving the <i>Library to Go</i> mobile unit to community events and to traditionally underserved audiences, including targeted neighborhoods, low-income housing communities, early learning organizations, school sites, assisted living facilities, and other community human services agencies.</li><li>
Serve as ambassador for the library, sharing information about library services and programming in the community, including early learning story times, STEAM, information and digital literacy, and job/career services.</li><li>
Actively maintain and enhance the Library to Go collection by selecting new resources, conducting collection assessments, and evaluating materials for potential deselection.</li><li>
Work closely with the library's Community Engagement Specialist to collaborate and communicate with a wide variety of individuals, including library staff, Friends of the Library, City and County agencies, and community stakeholders, to develop and implement strategies that effectively engage the entire community with the <i>Library to Go.</i></li><li>
Contribute to a work environment that encourages high performance, collaboration, innovation, and customer service, modeling and ensuring excellence in service.</li><li>
Administer surveys and prepare statistics and reports related to<i>Library to Go</i> services, demonstrating successful achievement of library outcomes.</li><li>

Acute care is available to employee&rsquo;s children ages 3-17, regardless of health insurance coverage, and for employee&rsquo;s adult children (ages 18-26) or employee&rsquo;s spouse if covered on the county&rsquo;s health insurance. </li><li><b>Wellness: </b>The County recognizes the importance of our health and well-being. Employees may also take advantage of individual and group retirement counseling through the Human Resources department.</li><li><b>401K:</b> The County provides a 2% contribution plus an additional 1% match (up to 3% total contribution by the County).
