<div>The OSP (Outside Plant) Field Engineer supports engineering services through the detailed collection of information from the job site. This position requires rapidly obtaining a working knowledge in all technical aspects of OSP fiber and copper networks. The successful candidate is responsible for identifying existing field design and layout of OSP telecommunications network to include aerial, buried, and underground fiber network design and layout, underground conduit, manhole/handhole, building entrance, and riser facilities. Telecommunications systems are often located near high voltage power systems, and the trainee must learn to identify and work safely in proximity to such systems.
