To make sure all stacks are square and blocked correctly to prevent injury.</li><li>Must be keenly aware of safety and watch for safety of others.</li><li>Performs other duties as required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills:&middot; High school diploma or equivalent preferred.&middot; 1-2 years of experience with overhead cranes preferred.&middot; Ability to read and understand basic instructions, memos, and short letters in English.&middot; Ability to write simple emails or letters.&middot; Can present information clearly to customers, clients, and coworkers in one-on-one or small group settings.&middot; Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Position Summary
 
As a Cab Crane Operator, you will operate an overhead crane from an elevated cab to move steel plates, pipe, and structural materials throughout the facility.
 
This role requires strong hand-eye coordination, situational awareness, and a commitment to safety. You will work closely with production, welding, and yard teams to ensure materials are moved efficiently without compromising safety or product quality.
 
This is a night shift role (6 PM – 6 AM) requiring focus, discipline, and consistent execution.
 
What You’ll Be Responsible For
 <ul>
<li>Operate cab-controlled overhead cranes to move steel materials safely and efficiently</li>
<li>Lift, position, and transport loads including plate, pipe, and structural steel</li>
<li>Follow all rigging signals and communication protocols with ground personnel</li>
<li>Inspect crane equipment and rigging before use to ensure safe operation</li>
<li>Maintain precise control to prevent load swing, damage, or safety hazards</li>
<li>Support production flow by staging materials for welding, fitting, and processing</li>
<li>Identify and report equipment issues or unsafe conditions immediately</li>
<li>Maintain clean and organized work areas</li>
<li>Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times</li>

<li>Frequent squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting, requiring full-body mobility, balance, and upper- and lower-body strength to perform work safely.</li>
<li>Manual agility to operate tools safely and effectively, with regular use of arms, shoulders, and back for lifting, reaching, and positioning tasks.</li>
<li>Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.</li>
<li>Maintain adequate visual and auditory acuity to safely perform assigned tasks, including but not limited to: identifying potential hazards, reading and/or recording measurements, inspecting materials, and responding promptly to verbal instructions, alarms or hand signals in the work environment</li>
