Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $25.70/hr to $41.80/hr. We are seeking a Material Handler candidate to join our team a Kona Brewing Hawaii. As Material Handler, you will work in warehouse environments assisting with the daily packaging operations. This postion will report directly to the Packaging Manager. 

Essential:

Perform duties in accordance with the company safety policies and procedures 
Maintain attendance and punctuality 
Follow policies and SOPS and keep accurate records 
Properly use and maintain equipment and tools 
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment 
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Perform loading and unloading of finished products from applicable conveyor belts.</li>
<li>Monitor finished goods for mis-labeling and possible mixing of products.</li>
<li>Safely operate all departmental equipment which includes Switchback 150 and Tray Packer.</li>
<li>Move finished products and materials from the packaging area and other production work areas utilizing hand trucks, pallets jacks and powered industrial trucks.</li>
<li>As directed, load and unload trailers in line with Company standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. powered industrial trucks, hand trucks, hand tools, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and efficiently. Must be certified to operate all Company powered industrial trucks and undergo yearly recertification by the Safety Manager.</li>
<li>Stack finished goods and raw materials onto pallets in a pre-defined stacking pattern in designated areas.</li>
<li>Utilize chemicals to clean machinery in department in adherence with safety standards and company standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment.</li>
<li>As directed, maintain a safe, clean work environment that includes general housekeeping and warehouse duties.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to identify all Emergency Stops on all equipment within work areas.</li>
<li>Assist other Material Handlers in feeding repack materials into appropriate machinery.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
 
 
Requirements: 
<ul><li>Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Applicants, without an accommodation, must have the ability to frequently reach, twist, stoop, bend, crouch, stand and walk for 10 hour shifts. Must be able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly</li><li>Basic computer skills for updating inventory records</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality</li><li>Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Flexibility to work different shifts as needed</li><li>Applicants, without an accommodation, must be able to operate powered inductrial trucks and pallet jacks for the purpose of moving large and heavy pallets safely and efficiently.
