JOB OVERVIEW:A qualified physiotherapist is capable of facilitating the treatment and therapy of patients who suffer from various conditions of the spine, bone, and muscles. To be successful as a Physiotherapist, you should have strong interpersonal skills, good administration skills, the ability to build &amp; maintain patient support, and strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, and the ability to work well within a team.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Making assessments of the patient's physical condition.</li><li>Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients based on treatment modalities available.</li><li>Conducting complex mobilization techniques.</li><li>Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, spinal, orthopaedic sometimes over a period of weeks.</li><li>Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.</li><li>Counselling patients on treatment options and plans.</li><li>Ensuring that the centre/unit achieves its weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue targets.</li><li>Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.</li><li>Meeting with doctors and other medical practitioners to solicit referrals to our centre/unit.</li><li>Planning and organising physiotherapy and fitness programs</li><li>Conducting camps or awareness/education programs to identify patients who may benefit from the treatment modalities/programs that we offer.</li><li>Keeping accurate patient evaluation forms, patient progress reports and patient records.</li><li>Following up with patients on treatment progress (after 3 months or 6 months) to ensure that they have benefitted from the treatment provided.</li><li>Speaking to potential patients via telephone or conducting online consultation to get walk- ins to the centre/unit.</li><li>Keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients.</li><li>Be legally responsible and accountable.</li><li>Be caring, compassionate and professional at all times.</li><li>Manage clinical risk and ensure that patients who are contraindicated for treatment modalities are not enrolled.</li></ul>Physiotherapist Requirements:<ul><li>Degree in Physiotherapy</li><li>Experience working as a Physiotherapist.</li><li>Good interpersonal skills - Physiotherapists need to give clear instructions and form trusting relationships with patients to encourage them to work towards recovery.</li><li>They may also need to explain complex medical issues in ways that patients can easily understand.
