<div>We are looking for a self-motivated, quality-minded Painter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting metal parts and ensuring they meet quality standards. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position with standard working hours of 8:00pm-6:00am Sunday night- Thursday morning. This position may require additional hours (overtime) to meet demand as needed.
Essential Functions of the job:<ul><li>Clean, sand, and smooth metal surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coating.</li><li>Apply protective coverings to areas not being painted.</li><li>Inspect surfaces for any imperfections, such as rust, burrs, or debris, and remove them as needed.</li><li>Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and job requirements.</li><li>Apply paint or coating using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other equipment, ensuring even coverage.</li><li>Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray booths, to ensure safe and efficient operations.</li><li>Inspect painted parts for consistency, thickness, and finish quality.</li><li>Touch up areas with defects or inconsistencies.</li><li>Ensure painted components meet company and customer standards for appearance and durability.</li><li>Clean and maintain equipment and work area.</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.</li><li>Assist in other areas of production as needed or as assigned.</li></ul></div>
