Art of Problem Solving is looking for an Upper-Level Math Instructor to join their Virtual Campus team. This is a part-time position. The AoPS Academy Virtual Campus is an after-school and weekend enrichment option for students. Our Year-Round courses are offered late afternoons to evenings between 4pm ET and 10pm ET Monday through Friday and from 10am ET to 9pm ET on Sunday. Summer camps are held Mon-Fri between June and August and run for 1, 2, or 4 weeks for 1.5 or 3 hours per day.

 Passion for math and working with students - You must be able to demonstrate your ability to do math at least through Algebra 1. Those with demonstrable ability to do higher level math (Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus) are preferred.

 Excellent interpersonal skills - You must be engaging and interact well with students. You should be able to inspire students to do well, create a fun learning environment and demonstrate enthusiasm in teaching math.

The Illinois Central College, TRIO Upward Bound is a college preparatory program for college-bound high school students; grades 9th-12th. Upward Bound is seeking applicants to fill Instructor positions for our annual 6-week summer program; June 8th &ndash; 26th 2026, July 6th &ndash; 24th 2026. Selected applicants may start as soon as May 26th 2026, or as agreed upon to begin course planning and cover other administrative duties. Courses will be taught in-person at the Peoria Campus of Illinois Central College. Students take 4 courses each day between 9am - 3pm, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, Field Trips on Wednesdays, and 9am-12pm on Fridays for 6 weeks. Instructor schedules are negotiable.
