About the role
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus!!
The Wastewater Treatment Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental and safety duties as assigned. This position requires an ability to follow instructions consistently and to communicate effectively so that all activities are aligned with the desires of the Operations Supervisor and Reworld 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Complete work sheets and forms clearly and consistently.</li><li>
Gather and assist with evaluating samples (as assigned).</li><li>
Assist and/or manage the offloading of waste streams and chemical treatment products.</li><li>
Assist and/or manage bulk chemical transfers.</li><li>
Load and unload bulk tankers.</li><li>
Maintain a clean work area.</li><li>
Perform cleanings of wastewater process equipment (as assigned).</li><li>
Monitor the operation of all wastewater processing equipment.</li><li>
Maintain the operational performance of the wastewater equipment.</li><li>
Identify and report operating anomalies to the Operations Supervisor or Maintenance Department.</li><li>
Direct and assist with the operation of the sludge transfer and dewatering systems.</li><li>
Conduct basic laboratory tests to evaluate wastewater samples, as directed.</li></ul> 
Schedule:<ul><li>
Monday-Friday, average 8 to 10 hours per day. Flexible with start time (facility runs 6 am to 6:30 pm). 10-20% OT including some Saturdays.</li></ul> 
Requirements:<ul><li>
Wastewater certification preferred.</li><li>
1 year experience as Waste Water Treatment Technician</li><li>
High School diploma/GED. Formal training in higher level of education preferred.</li><li>
With adequate training after being hired, be able to install and operate remediation systems including but not limited to pumps, filters, vessels, media change-outs, etc.</li><li>
Shop work including but not limited to cleaning and maintaining shop and equipment, operating heavy equipment (forklifts, Vac-Trucks, etc.).</li><li>
Strong attention to details with the ability to analyze</li><li>
Highly dedicated worker with sense of teamwork</li><li>
Ability to thrive on hard work and demonstrated pride in solutions-oriented result</li></ul> 
Physical Demands:<ul><li>
Candidate must have the ability to work in outdoor elements/weather</li><li>
Must be able to lift, push, pull and stand for extended periods</li><li>
Must be able to wear a full-face respirator as needed</li></ul>

Pay Transparency
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld&rsquo;s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $43,100.00 - $57,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
