 JOB OVERVIEW
 
 
 
 The Parts Advisor is responsible for ordering and selling a variety of vehicle parts and accessories. This job is responsible to coordinate parts for vehicle service and repair and works closely with the service team to provide excellent customer service to the patrons.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Answer phone calls and respond to questions and requests about parts.

 Greet customers in-person and determine what parts they need.

 Coordinate with the service team to ensure parts are available or ordered promptly when needed.

 Track inventory and input items into the company log to ensure accurate inventory counts

What You'll Do<div><ul><li>
Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments</li><li>
Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members</li><li>
Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system. Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations</li><li>
Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries</li><li>
Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts</li><li>
Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvements</li><li>
Pick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary</li></ul></div>
