This role supports daily kitchen operations by executing recipes with precision, maintaining consistency in presentation, and contributing to a thoughtful, seasonal menu. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Prepare and execute a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts according to established receipts and presentation standards</li><li>Assist in prep and production of items such as breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, plated desserts, and specialty items</li><li>Ensure consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation across all pastry items</li><li>Properly measure, mix, proof, bake, and finish products using standard techniques and equipment</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pastry station at all times</li><li>Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations</li><li>Label, date, and store ingredients and finished products in accordance with FIFO standards</li><li>Monitor inventory levels for pasty ingredients and communicate needs to kitchen leadership</li><li>Minimize waste through proper portioning and efficient use of ingredients</li><li>Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries</li><li>Maintain and properly use all pastry equipment; report any maintenance or safety concerns</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen leadership on seasonal items, specials, and menu development as needed</li><li>Support special event production</li><li>Maintain awareness of guest dietary needs and support safe preparation practices</li><li>Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment</li><li>Support additional duties as assigned based on operational needs</li></ul>Due to changing operational demands, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed.
