<p><b>Job Title: </b>Patient Care Coordinator</p><p><b>Classification: </b>(Non- Exempt)</p><p><b>Salary Range: </b>Compensation ranges from $21.52 to $30.12, depending on years of experience.</p><p><b>Department: </b>Clinic</p><p><b>Direct Report Title: </b>Clinic Manager</p><p><b>Summary: </b>Patient care coordinators are liaisons between patients and the healthcare system. As a patient care coordinator, you would ensure that patients receive the care they need and that they understand their medical condition, medications, and other instructions.</p><p><b>Qualification: </b>Requires one year of experience in a clinical position with demonstrated competency in performing skills previous pulmonary experience preferred. Requires successful interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members in order to foster optimal quality of outpatient care. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and physicians. Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic mail with exposure to electronic medical records systems.
