The Clinical Research Coordinator II will play a key role in supporting research activities within the Translational Research Laboratory and Biospecimen Repository in the Section of Hematology &amp; Medical Oncology. Primary responsibilities include obtaining informed consent for research studies and biobank enrollment, abstracting data from medical records, maintaining patient databases, and processing and managing biospecimen samples. In addition, the CRC will contribute to the generation, organization, and preliminary analysis of research data from ongoing translational studies and support the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment to ensure high-quality and reproducible research outputs.</p><p></p><p>
Working closely with clinicians, laboratory staff, and collaborating principal investigators, the CRC will ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with institutional policies, IRB regulatory requirements, and ethical research standards. The Department of Psychiatry&rsquo;s Wellness and Recovery After Psychosis Program (WRAP) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) to assist in the implementation/coordination of schizophrenia clinical trials and epidemiological studies.</p><p></p><p>
The CRC II will coordinate study start-up activities, conduct interviews and data collection, and oversee administrative issues related to ongoing research studies. The main responsibilities of the CRC II include conducting participant recruitment, administering questionnaires, gathering data, managing subject databases, serving as study liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., Institutional Review Board), and liaising with research collaborators. They also will assist with new grant proposal submission and preparation of research reports and presentations.</p><p></p><p>

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>
Under moderate supervision, will perform the following:<br>
1. Provide administrative support for Directors, department managers, clinicians, and/or faculty.<br>
2. Perform administrative duties that may include, but not limited to, answering phones, maintaining office supplies, incoming and outgoing mail management, managing resource calendars, and submitting work orders for maintenance issues.<br>
3. Manage meeting planning and schedules for individuals and teams within assigned department group.<br>
4. May liaise between patient and clinical staff to provide scheduling support.<br>
5. Draft communications for members of the department or individuals that the position is supporting for review.<br>
6. May be responsible for data entry.<br>
7. Provide email and phone communication with internal and external teams or collaborators.<br>
8. May serve as onsite representative for external groups, visitors, or collaborators.<br>
9. Prepare general correspondence, letters of recommendation, Excel spreadsheets, presentation preparation and editing.<br>
10. Financial responsibilities including P-Card charge review and reconciliation, expense report processing, vendor payments, invoice creation or general office supply ordering.<br>
11. Coordinate travel arrangements as required/needed by department staff.<br>
12. Expected to identify and escalate areas of need regarding workflows to supervisors.<br>
13. May participate in training and onboarding new staff.<br>
14. Maintain high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality regarding a variety of highly sensitive topics.<br>

<div><p>The Telephonic Health Services Coordinator (HSC) serves as the primary point of contact for newly referred patients and plays a critical role in patient outreach, registration, enrollment, and ongoing telephonic engagement. This role supports patients with chronic conditions such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, hypertension, and related conditions.</p>
<p>As the first member of the clinical team that most patients interact with at AMC Health, the HSC is responsible for building trust, demonstrating empathy, clearly explaining Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services, and ensuring a smooth and compliant enrollment process. Following enrollment, the HSC collaborates closely with nurse care managers, nurse care associates, and other members of the clinical care team to support patients in meeting their health goals and adhering to care plans.</p>

<li>Collaborate with nurse care managers and the broader care team to support patient care goals.</li>
<li>Track hospitalizations and notify nursing staff upon patient discharge, as required.</li>
<li>Coordinate patient assistance services as directed, including referrals for transportation, housekeeping, home modifications, food assistance, or other approved services.</li>
