Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Payroll Manager, will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all Naskila Casino Team Members. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Payroll Processing: Oversee the preparation, calculation, and distribution of payroll for casino staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established schedules.</li><li>

Provide financial management for assigned function areas including forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting, approving expenses &amp; reporting.</li><li>
Manages the daily operations of the Naskila Casino&rsquo;s 401k Retirement Plan, ensuring plans remain in compliance with current legal requirements.</li><li>
Ensures appropriate record-keeping in compliance with applicable laws and regulations: quarterly audits, reporting responsibilities for federal, local, state and Naskila Casino as directed.</li><li>
Manages the administration of data entry into the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) system and all related reporting requirements.</li><li>
Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives and benefits broker.</li><li>
Manages the administration of all leaves of absence (medical, personal, and administrative) for all Team Members assuring compliance with Naskila Casino policy.</li><li>
Present information at small or large meetings, departmental and executive meetings.</li><li>
Provide training and mentorship for Team Members.</li><li>

REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field.</li><li>
Five (5) years of proven experience as a payroll manager in a high volume industry.</li><li>
Proven experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll, and timekeeping software.</li><li>
A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of some requirements.</li></ul>

<li>Maintain and reconcile GL mappings between payroll and accounting systems.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all wage, hour, and tax regulations.</li>
<li>Respond to payroll inquiries and support audits and agency notices.</li>
</ul>
HRIS Management
<ul><li>Serve as the primary administrator for ADP Workforce Now.</li>
<li>Maintain data integrity through regular audits and updates.</li>
<li>Generate and analyze reports (turnover, headcount, EEO, payroll analytics, etc.).</li>
<li>Support system integrations with platforms like Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and SharePoint.</li>
<li>Continuously improve HRIS processes to support business needs.</li>
</ul>
Compliance &amp; Reporting
<ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.</li>
<li>Prepare and file annual reports, audits, and other related requirements.</li>
<li>Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal controls.</li>
<li>Collaborate with HR and Accounting to uphold legal and policy standards.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>10+ years of hands-on, multi-state payroll experience (250+ employees).</li>
<li>10+ years of HRIS administration experience (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred).</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of payroll best practices and tax regulations.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels.</li>
<li>High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.</li>
