Role Mission: IDEA Physical Education teachers deliver high-quality PE instruction daily in non-traditional spaces (e.g., outdoors, cafetoriums, shared multipurpose rooms) while maintaining safety, engagement, and strong routines. IDEA Physical Education teachers implement technology into PE spaces; such as - Interactive Health Technologies (IHT) heart-rate technology and the district&rsquo;s structured curriculum every day to drive fitness-based student achievement and goal setting. 
All physical education teachers are responsible for ensuring that every IDEA student masters personal and social responsibility, self-directed learning, and the problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in college. IDEA Physical Education teachers plan for and track Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA) as a core instructional outcome for all classes, even with facility and equipment constraints. IDEA Physical Education teachers collaborate with campus teams to share space, manage student transitions, and support campus culture (e.g., crisis response and discipline as assigned).

Compensation:

This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer additional performance-based compensation. What You Bring - Competencies 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required); focus in physical education, kinesiology or physiology, physical therapy, or nutrition and health (strongly preferred)</li><li>
Experience: Some experience in a classroom setting or with children in a similarly large group or team setting such as park and recreation centers, scouts&rsquo; organizations, and fitness programs.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Implement IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious expectations</li><li>
Plan and teach multi-grade level lessons aligned to SPARK and district PE scope and sequence with limited daily prep time.</li><li>
Set up, break down, and manage equipment in spaces with limited storage; maintain an inventory and safety checklist.</li><li>
Use IHT heart-rate monitors or other technology to set personal zones, monitor student effort, and conference with students on progress.</li><li>
Conduct FitnessGram assessments (BOY/EOY) and use results to set class and individual goals; lead data-driven re-teach cycles.</li><li>
Track and report MVPA and lesson outcomes; analyze class trends to improve instruction and equity.</li><li>
Coordinate shared-space schedules with other educators; adapt lessons based on actual space and equipment available.</li><li>
Pick up and drop off students each period; uphold transitions, safety expectations, and culture routines.</li><li>
Support campus initiatives (crisis team, discipline coverage, coaching, athletic coaching coordination possibilities) while protecting instructional time.</li><li>
Communicate proactively with campus leadership regarding schedules, assemblies, and space availability; submit contingency plans.</li><li>

 What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing
 
 
 
 This person will bring extensive experience to work on industrial projects including design of power distribution, lighting and grounding systems. Projects range from small facility modifications to complex EPC contracts for heavy industrial processes in any one or more of the pulp and paper, chemicals, food and beverage, consumer products, or pharmaceutical industries. Some travel to project and construction sites will be required.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design power system facilities and equipment and coordinate construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations, and distribution systems and equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to drive the most efficient design on a project-by-project basis
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of electrical engineering projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop equipment specifications
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop construction specifications and contractor scope of work documents
 </li>
 <li>
 Directs preparation of or prepares drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Work products will include: one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layout drawings, motor schematics, instrument loop sheets, conduit and tray routing drawings and contractor scope documents
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with systems and equipment grounding requirements (high resistance, building and isolated grounding)
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide on-site start up support

 <ul>
 <li>
 experience with design/installation of medium and low-voltage distribution equipment, with experience in consulting engineering and construction industry
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA)
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to handle onsite plant projects with minimal supervision
 </li>
 <li>
 Well organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate within budgets and work directly with client engineers and maintenance teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capability with CAD systems including AutoCAD
 </li>
 <li>
 PE license or EIT certificate with ability to obtain PE license is preferred but not required.
 </li>
