This position works alongside the pediatric triage nurses in the office setting. Handling incoming and outgoing patient calls for over 50 providers in the different pediatric offices. As well as MyChart in-basket work within the medical assistant scope of practice. Medical assistants will communicate effectively with the pediatric providers, triage nurses, and office staff. Flexing as needed to assist offices with patients, workflows, and processes.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history</li><li>
Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures
