Summary:</p>
Assists in the filling and compounding of all inpatient and outpatient medication orders under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Provides work-related experience for students enrolled in accredited schools of pharmacy.<p></p><p><br>

Accurately refills Pyxis machines and assists in the resolution of Pyxis discrepancies.</li><li>

Enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy or completing internship hours required by a Board of Pharmacy</p></li><li><p>
Current pharmacy intern license applicable to state of practice (by the first day of work- applicants may be hired before licensure is completed). Any lapse or failure to meet these requirements may result in disciplinary action, up to termination, at the hiring manager's discretion.</p></li></ul><p><b>

Overview:

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Technician Manager, the Pharmacy intern will perform all of the tasks as a pharmacy technician II and in addition, will assist the pharmacist with activities allowed by the Delaware Board of Pharmacy for pharmacy interns.</p>
