</p></div><div><p>The individual in this position will assist in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging of medication orders, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Position duties include the following activities: fill and label medications, stock medications into pharmacy inventory, restock automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications, deliver medications to patient care areas, attend to medication requests and phone calls, prepare IV sterile admixture solutions and IV products. This will also include advanced compounding of chemotherapy and TPNs, assist in Pharmacy quality assurance activities, train and educate pharmacy technicians on department and hospital policies and procedures, quality assurance, and performance improvement processes, comply and assure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards and Tenet and hospital policies and procedures, assist pharmacists and Supervisors in performing various duties as assigned, and serve as a resource for pharmacy drug distribution functions.

The Implementation Specialist at Clearway Health will work with new partnership hospitals to integrate and launch new pharmacy services. The Implementation Specialist is deployed to the client at the onset of the partnership and is responsible for providing hands on, in person, integrated care for patients with high medication cost. You'll be responsible for delivering safe and efficient specialty services while training the incoming new team members including Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Liaisons. This position requires extensive </i><i>air and/or auto travel to and from the client sites (domestic only). The Implementation Specialist is expected to travel from several weeks to up to one year for each client site. Implementation Specialists are responsible for the filing and renewing of any primary state pharmacy technician license registration. The Implementation Specialist is required to have a valid driver&rsquo;s license with current auto insurance. Clearway will reimburse any state pharmacy technician license registration fees (besides their home state) and travel expenses.</p>

Implementation &amp; Change Management:</b></p>

An individual enrolled in a technician training course or program, or an individual who has not previously worked as a pharmacy technician and who accepts technician employment in an Iowa pharmacy, must register as a pharmacy technician trainee within 30 days of starting technician training or employment. A technician trainee must become a nationally certified pharmacy technician within 12 months of starting technician employment or training. A pharmacy technician trainee who does not complete national pharmacy technician certification before expiration of the pharmacy technician trainee registration, must discontinue working as a pharmacy technician.<br>

Minnesota: Must have active/current pharmacy technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy and the completion of a formal technician training program. Must obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) prior to hire.<br>

North Dakota: Technician certification: Must maintain active licensure in North Dakota. The North Dakota Board of Pharmacy does not require employers to collect or submit ongoing documentation of national certification renewal. Technicians are responsible for ensuring their state registration remains current and in good standing.<br>

South Dakota: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the SD Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days from the date of hire. As of September 12, 2024, the state of South Dakota requires technician certification in the following roles: A Technician Providing immunizations, a Technician working in a Remote Pharmacy, other advanced functions as approved per the Board.<br>
