Job Duties</h2></div><div><ul><li>Provide clinical services in Spine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.</li><li>Provide outpatient clinical services at BSLMC McNair Campus and/or as assigned.</li><li>Shall maintain a day-to-day reporting relationship with the Chief of Service, Medical Director, and Chair.</li><li>Evaluate and treat patients with spine and pain conditions.</li><li>Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as appropriate.</li><li>Perform spine and pain procedures as appropriate</li><li>Participate in the education and training of residents, fellows, and medical students</li><li>Provide call coverage at BSLMC Hospitals and others as assigned</li><li>Participate in committees, among other administrative duties.</li><li>Attend faculty meetings, grand rounds, and other special lectures.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement and patient safety efforts.</li><li>Comply with regulatory requirements related to patient care and Baylor College of Medicine.</li><li>Actively participate in faculty reviews and other departmental meetings, retreats, and activities.</li><li>Perform other discipline and specialty-specific duties as assigned.</li><li>Has never been excluded from participation in any state or federal health care program, including but not limited to Medicare or Medicaid.</li><li>Will admit, manage, and discharge patients.</li><li>Will consult and follow the patients as appropriate and as assigned.</li><li>Will evaluate, manage, and treat the patients in the outpatient clinic as assigned.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Minimum Qualifications</h2></div><div><ul><li>Successful Completion of ACGME-approved residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.</li><li>Successful Completion of ACGME-approved subspecialty program in Pain Medicine or equivalent.</li><li>Current Texas Medical License, and said licenses and registrations have not been suspended, revoked, or restricted in any manner.</li><li>Current ABPM&amp;R Certification at a minimum in General PM&amp;R. Pain or Spine Sub-specialization preferred.</li><li>Current DEA Certification, and said licenses and registrations have not been suspended, revoked, or restricted in any manner.</li></ul></div></div></div>
