The pay for this position is $95,000 &ndash; $130,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience</li><li>

KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of Specialist Procurement &ndash; Engineer for an Offshore Project to be based in UAE ( Abu Dhabi) as soon as the administrative processes are completed, will then relocate to Spain Office and then return to Abu Dhabi .
The Procurement Engineer is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery of materials and equipment required for offshore projects. The role focuses on expediting vendor activities, monitoring production schedules, resolving delays, and coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, inspection agencies, and project teams to meet project milestones.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement &amp; Expediting
<ul><li>Review purchase orders, contracts, and technical specifications for offshore materials and equipment</li>
<li>Develop and maintain expediting plans aligned with project schedules</li>
<li>Monitor vendor manufacturing, fabrication, testing, and documentation progress</li>
<li>Follow up with suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed delivery dates and milestones</li>
<li>Identify potential delays and implement mitigation and recovery plans</li>
</ul>Vendor &amp; Supplier Coordination
<ul><li>Act as the main point of contact between suppliers, vendors, and internal teams</li>
<li>Conduct regular progress meetings with vendors (virtual or onsite)</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors for FAT, inspections, and material release</li>
<li>Expedite critical and long‑lead items essential for offshore installation</li>
</ul>Inspection, Logistics &amp; Documentation
<ul><li>Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies for offshore equipment</li>
<li>Ensure timely completion and submission of vendor documents, MRBs, and certificates</li>
<li>Liaise with logistics and freight forwarding teams for shipping, customs clearance, and offshore delivery</li>
<li>Track packing, preservation, and marking requirements for offshore conditions</li>
</ul>Reporting &amp; Stakeholder Communication
<ul><li>Prepare and issue weekly/monthly expediting and procurement status reports</li>
<li>Highlight risks related to delivery schedules, quality, or compliance</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Construction, and Offshore teams</li>
</ul>Compliance &amp; Quality
<ul><li>Ensure materials and equipment meet offshore standards and project specifications (API, ASME, ISO, NORSOK, etc.)</li>
<li>Verify compliance with HSE requirements for offshore projects</li>
<li>Support audits, inspections, and vendor assessments as required</li>
</ul>Qualification &amp; Experience
<ul><li>Minimum Overall 15+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.</li>
<li>Strong expertise in all aspects of procurement activities within the Offshore Oil &amp; Gas industry.</li>
<li>Having minimum 5+ years of previous experience working in ADNOC Offshore Projects.</li>
<li>5&ndash;10 years of experience in procurement and expediting, preferably in offshore oil &amp; gas or EPC projects.</li>
<li>Strong experience handling long‑lead offshore equipment (valves, piping, rotating equipment, packages, etc.)
</li><li>Prior experience in vendor expediting, inspections, and logistics coordination</li>
<li>Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in similar position for mega oil and gas FEED/ EPC project ( more than US$ 1 Billion).</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering is a MUST.</li></ul></div></div>
