They also prepare memoranda to keep the Board, Division Management, and the System informed on developing trends and issues in consumer protection and community development.</li><li>
Monetary Affairs (MA): Financial Institution and Policy Analysts conduct their duties while working with counterparts throughout the Board to execute the Division&rsquo;s responsibilities pertaining to: monetary policy implementation; the tools of monetary policy; money, reserve, and bank credit aggregates; analysis of financial institutions and markets; and Federal Reserve System operations.</li><li>
Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems (RBOPS): Financial Institution and Policy Analysts identify options, assess trade-offs, measure outcomes, and develop consensus related to moderate or complex projects involving Federal Reserve Banks&rsquo; policies, operations, compliance, and information management; systemically important financial market infrastructures (FMIs); payment, clearance, and settlement (PCS) activities; and the broader financial and payment systems. They regularly collaborate with staff from the Federal Reserve System, other domestic and international authorities, and international standard-setting bodies. Projects include those that ultimately lead to decisions by the Board; Board Committees, notably the Committee on Federal Reserve Bank Affairs (BAC) and the Payments System Policy Advisory Committee (PSPAC); and senior Division and Reserve Banks&rsquo; management.</li><li>
Supervision and Regulation (S&amp;R): Financial Institution and Policy Analysts perform analyses related to banking supervisory or regulatory activities. They may participate in special studies or projects related to financial institution supervision and regulation, and identify problems or potential problems in the banking system or individual banking organizations. Fiscal Agency's Financial Institution Policy Analyst:<br>
o collects, synthesize, analyze, summarize, and assimilate significant amounts of unstructured qualitative information to facilitate making risk-based judgments, sometimes in the moment, and communicate clearly logical reasoning and recommendations.<br>
o applies risk management concepts and frameworks to assess risks related to complex governance models, management culture, financial and vendor management, technology programs and projects, and business operations.<br>
o conduct risk-based oversight by engaging actively with Reserve Bank management and staff and synthesizing information to assess whether Reserve Banks&rsquo; Treasury divisions are meeting their objectives in compliance with Federal Reserve policies, procedures, and risk tolerance<br>
o assesses Reserve Bank management&rsquo;s effectiveness in engaging with relevant governance bodies to progress key initiatives and transparently discuss risks.<br>
o communicates effectively, including the ability to deliver presentations, recommendations, and oversight findings to internal and external stakeholders.<br>

Provide guidance and mentorship to new or junior staff, and act as subject matter experts to contribute to and advise on analyses and discussions across the Board of Governors. The Digital Innovations Policy team examines emerging issues at the nexus of technology and payments, clearing, and settlement &ndash; most notably related to digital assets. These issues include the changing nature of money and payments platforms in an increasingly digital environment; the potential benefits and risks associated with digital assets such as stablecoins and other digital currencies; the potential effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on payments; and the supervisory and regulatory framework for emerging payments platforms, activities, and institutions.</p><p>
The analyst will lead or contribute to a broad range of digital asset-related initiatives. This could include analysis of standards for interoperability between payment stablecoin issuers and the digital asset ecosystem and analysis of the stablecoin market.</p><p>
The analyst will also contribute to quantitative and qualitative policy research and analysis on digital assets, distributed ledger technology, AI, and other topics at the intersection of technology and payments, which includes drafting policy communications and participating in engagement with private and public sector stakeholders.</p><div><b><i>
