<p>Job Requirements<br>
</p><br>
<p>The POS Tech performs installations, new configurations, repairs, updates, upgrades, backups, troubleshooting of issues, and other IT maintenance tasks to ensure optimal point-of-sale equipment performance.</p><p><br>
This is a hybrid role in our Support Center in Westminster, MA.</p><br>
<ul><li>
Perform POS functional testing, interpretation, and analysis of test results.</li><li>
Assist with POS system upgrades for retail locations.</li><li>
Support POS software and hardware development cycle by determining user-expected behavior.</li><li>
Complete installations, repairs, backups, and maintenance tasks.</li><li>
Document detailed procedures for best practices.</li><li>
Remote troubleshooting through established diagnostic techniques.</li><li>
Prepare registers and other devices for deployment.</li><li>
Assist in acquisition projects as necessary (requires travel).</li></ul><br>
<p>
Work Experience
</p><br>
<ul><li>2+ years of technical experience in helpdesk or technical customer support preferred.</li><li>
Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field preferred.</li><li>
Availability to work variable shifts including weekdays, weekends, holidays and some nights.</li><li>
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as projects require.</li><li>
Ability to strictly follow instructions and direction.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to investigate and identify hardware, network, or software issues and take steps to resolve them with limited supervision.</li><li>
Experience working in ticketing systems to record issues, correspond with customers, and utilize documented methods to resolve the situation to the customer&rsquo;s satisfaction.</li><li>
Experience in/knowledge of point-of-sale software is an advantage.</li><li>
Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously is required.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office, and Google Suite.</li></ul><br>
