 One of the best places to start when working in the media industry is as a Production Assistant. A production assistant can have many different responsibilities, which puts you in a great position to learn about all of the different departments.
 
 
 You have to be open to anything as a PA and you have to be willing to work hard. If you are a hard-working PA it is more than likely that someone will notice and it will be easier for you to get promoted. The goal is to ensure production gets on smoothly and problem-free.

 Organization/Multitasking:
 
 This is probably the number one skill that you have to possess if you want to be a production assistant. You have to be ready and willing to balance a multitude of jobs at the same time. If you don&rsquo;t enjoy paperwork, running errands and working on multiple things at once, then being a production assistant is not the job for you.
 
 
 
 Strong Computer Skills:
 
 As a production assistant, a lot of your work will be spent working on a computer. You need to be comfortable trouble-shooting computer issues and you need to be able to make your way around programs like Google Workspace and Zoho One with ease.
 
 
 
 Communication:
 
 As the production assistant you will be a point of contact for some of the crew and you need to make sure that you are communicating with all of the appropriate people and getting the right messages to the right people. Be clear with instructions and emails and make sure that you are understood, don&rsquo;t just assume that people have received your emails or calls, follow up with people.

About the Role 
 
The Creative Studio Assistant Editor is a full-time position responsible for assisting in the post production of the Creative Studio's sponsored content. This role centers around organizing production media, preparing it for editing, conforming edits for finishing, as well as exporting final deliverables. Assistant Editors also have opportunities for editing shorts, sizzles, and other ancillary content to be released on Big Think, as well as partner platforms across the web. This is a role for someone who is passionate about workflow and organization, with experience in editing short-form social videos.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:

Job Summary</h2>
The Production Assistant provides administrative and operational support to multiple sales producers. This role helps ensure the sales team operates efficiently by coordinating schedules, maintaining organized records, assisting with proposal preparation, and acting as a liaison between producers and internal partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment that requires strong communication and multitasking skills.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>
Provide administrative and office support to multiple sales producers.</li><li>
Maintain files and records in an organized and up to date manner.</li><li>
Field incoming telephone calls and route messages as needed.</li><li>
Schedule appointments and meetings with prospects and clients.</li><li>
Assist Customer Service Representatives and producers with coordinating the submission of proposals.</li><li>
Track producers&rsquo; sales activity and assist with preparing and processing expense reports.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison between traveling producers and internal office staff or business partners.</li><li>
Perform basic word processing, internet research, and document preparation as needed.</li><li>
Maintain working knowledge of company procedures related to policy and account changes.</li><li>
Run occasional errands and support general office needs when required.</li><li>
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
