Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Possess and maintain broad and in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and standards related to utility power distribution systems.</li><li>
Keen ability to apply expertise to complex problems.</li><li>
Develop concept design alternatives, engineering calculations, analysis, and engineering estimates for system improvement projects for substations and distribution systems.</li><li>
Lead the engineering design of sub-transmission systems, substations, switching stations, and complex commercial/industrial power distribution systems.</li><li>

Analyze electrical fault events, power quality issues, system loading scenarios and assist CLP crew to implement corrective actions.</li><li>

Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from accredited university with emphasis in power systems required.</li><li>
Minimum of twelve (12+) years of work experience in electric utility industry to include at least 5 years in a Lead, Supervisor or Project Manager role.</li><li>
PE License required.</li><li>
Subject Matter Expert (SME) with power system analysis, distribution system modeling, and protective device coordination required.</li><li>
Expert knowledge with medium voltage electrical substations and distribution systems.</li><li>
Previous experience utilizing MS Project (or similar) to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.</li><li>
High proficiency with power system software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower or similar)</li><li>
Ability to develop staff through mentoring and coaching.</li><li>

Installs conductors, splices cable, builds terminations and does necessary hook-up for primary power lines.6. Sets poles, strings overhead lines and does overhead line maintenance.7. May do other trades work incidental to electrical work.8. Assist team members in completing their task.9. Update the track of as-built drawings and O&amp;M Manual received from contractors and suppliers.. ELV Knowledge: The typical equipment being IP CCTV systems, Security systems, Security Gates, Central Battery System, and Lighting control system and associated equipment and associated equipment.
