<div><p>The University of Arizona College of Medicine &ndash; Phoenix has established the Phoenix Children&rsquo;s Research Institute to complement and support the growing clinical programs of distinction at Phoenix Children&rsquo;s. We seek an experienced, accomplished, and innovative independent investigator with an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree whose research interests are focused on a field that relates to the health of children and adolescents. The investigator will be expected to build a comprehensive, multi-investigator, interdisciplinary team. A strong track record of publishing peer-reviewed, high-impact articles in PubMed-indexed journals is required. The candidate will be required to submit intramural and extramural research grant proposals in the area of their proposed research program. Finally, the candidate will be expected to participate in the Department and College's educational, training, and service missions.</p>
<p>
Research laboratories are housed in new, state-of-the-art facilities with core services. The investigator will be expected to perform, develop, and direct the Institute's research activities, fostering collaboration with faculty across the College, Phoenix Children&rsquo;s, and the University. Applicants will have an outstanding track record in scholarship and ongoing and previous extramural funding records as a principal investigator. Professorial appointment will be at the associate or professor rank. Options for tenure-track appointment are available for the appropriate applicant.</p>
<p>In addition to recruiting new investigators, the Institute will draw from investigators in the various departments of the College and clinical affiliates. The successful candidate will promote collaborative research programs within the colleges in Phoenix and with other research programs in Tucson. Additional opportunities for collaboration include the Translational Cardiovascular Research Center, Norton Thoracic Institute, and Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph&rsquo;s Hospital and Medical Center, Center for Applied NanoBioscience and Medicine, Translational Genomics Research Institute, and Arizona State University.</p>

<p>The COSMIAC Research Center is a nationally recognized research organization within the University of New Mexico School of Engineering that delivers applied engineering solutions for government and industry partners in areas including space systems, radiation effects, satellite communications, hypersonics, positioning, navigation and timing, and advanced computing. COSMIAC manages a substantial portfolio of externally sponsored research and operates a 30,000-square-foot research facility in Albuquerque with laboratories, high-bay and cleanroom space, satellite ground stations, and a dedicated radiation effects laboratory supporting both terrestrial and orbital testing. The center maintains long-standing partnerships with Sandia National Laboratories, the Air Force Research Laboratory, U.S. Space Command, and leading aerospace and defense companies, and provides an integrated research and technology transition environment that connects academic research with real-world mission needs.</p>
<p>The Research Engineer 3 is a senior, principal-investigator-level position responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic direction for complex, externally funded research programs within COSMIAC. This role emphasizes leading multidisciplinary teams of professional research staff, faculty, and students; establishing technical vision; leading proposal development and grant capture; managing funded programs; and maintaining strong sponsor relationships.

Advantage Investigations is seeking a <b>Part-time</b> <b>SIU/Claims Investigator</b> in<b> Phoenix, AZ</b><b>/Surrounding Areas</b>. The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations of auto, property, homeowner liability and worker&rsquo;s compensation insurance claims in support of client objectives and Company quality standards. As an SIU/Claims Investigator, you will be provided with a comprehensive training program, door to door pay, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate. This position requires daily travel within the investigator&rsquo;s area/territory.</p><div><b><br>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Conduct investigations of auto, property, liability, and worker&rsquo;s compensation claims</li><li>
Independently reviews the assignment, supporting documentation and all other case information prior to commencing the on-site assignment.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Consults with the Manager on appropriate strategies for individual cases, before and throughout the investigative process.</li><li>
Locate subjects of the assigned investigation and conduct applicable case investigation, to include recorded statements and scene investigations etc.</li><li>
Creates and maintains written daily updates, supporting photos, audiotapes, diagrams, and final investigative reports for in a timely and professional manner</li><li>
Time management and communication skills</li><li>
Ability to handle confidential information and material</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
3 years claims investigative experience preferred</li><li>
3 years investigative experience required</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Bi-Lingual a plus</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Private Investigator License required in most states</li></ul><ul><li>
Full comprehension of case management systems</li><li>
Able to proactively conduct follow-ups as needed</li><li>
Good Oral and Written Communication Skills</li><li>
Proficient in computer technology &ndash; including Microsoft office type products, email, and the ability to produce quality, well-written reports</li><li>
Self-Starter/Disciplined work ethic with ability to ask relevant questions when needed, and work indecently</li><li>
Meet state mandated requirements to obtain and maintain a Private Investigator license multiple states</li><li>
Daily access to a reliable vehicle</li><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li>
Ability to provide MVR (driving record)</li><li>
Pass Drug Screen</li></ul><p><b><br>
Compensation:</b> Investigators are paid door to door an hourly rate commensurate with experience within $25.00 to $30.00 an hour. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis.</p><p><b><br>
