It is expected the Senior Engineer understands full piping scope &amp; system and its repair, refit, retrofit and newbuild coordinates with clients, engineering, procurement, quality and planning department for project preparation and planning.<br>
2. Coordinates for OFE (Owner Finished Equipment) and YFE (Yard Finished Equipment) for delivery dates which is related for projects.<br>
3. Controls execution of all piping works onboard vessel such as installation, repair, modification, new routing etc.<br>
4. Conducting daily project meeting with the own team to meet the schedule.<br>
5. Monitoring &amp; controlling the budgeted man-hours against the plan, including capturing additional billable work (cost control).<br>

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all piping-related engineering and construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/>- Plan, design, and supervise installation and testing of GRP, FRP, CS, and SS piping systems.<br/>- Review and approve piping design drawings, isometrics, and material specifications.<br/>- Ensure proper execution of pipe fabrication, welding, lamination, erection, and hydrotesting in compliance with project standards.<br/>- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship in line with client and international codes.<br/>- Prepare method statements, inspection &amp; test plans (ITPs), and other technical documentation.<br/>- Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of piping works.<br/>- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during installation and commissioning phases.<br/>- Liaise with QatarEnergy / consultant representatives for approvals, inspections, and technical clarifications.<br/>- Ensure material control, traceability, and adherence to project specifications.<br/>- Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and provide regular technical reports.</p><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b><br/>- Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.<br/>- Minimum 10 years of experience in piping engineering and construction, specifically with GRP, FRP, CS, and SS piping systems.<br/>-Previous experience with QatarEnergy / QatarEnergy LNG projects is mandatory.<br/>- Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, AWWA, ISO, BS).<br/>- Experience in welding, lamination, coating, hydrotesting, and pipeline pre-commissioning works.Proficiency in AutoCAD, piping design software, and MS Office applications.<br/>- Excellent communication and technical report writing skills in English (Arabic is a plus).</p><p><b>Key Competencies:</b><br/>- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.<br/>- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.<br/>- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.<br/>- Strong interpersonal skills to manage subcontractors and liaise with clients.<br/>- Available in Qatar</p><p>Job Types: Full-time, Contract</p><p>Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month</p>
