THE CHALLENGE</h2>

We are seeking a privacy lawyer with 5+ years of experience to join the Privacy legal team. This is an opportunity to join a global privacy program and work with multiple game labels across the company to support privacy contract terms, build and maintain the privacy program, and help deliver practical privacy guidance. his is a hybrid in-person position that will operate out of Take-Two's offices located in Austin, Texas; Bay Area, California; or New York, New York. The selected candidate will support teams located in North American and Western European time zones.

WHAT YOU'LL TAKE ON</h2>
<ul><li>Serve as privacy counsel for Take-Two's publishing labels, focusing on its mobile games, working directly with central and game teams to support strategic and operational activities</li>
<li>Conduct pre-contract privacy diligence and review / negotiate privacy terms with vendors and business partners &ndash; including collaboration across Legal, Security, HR, and publishing labels</li>
<li>Provide day-to-day privacy advice to Take-Two's game labels and corporate services including on product development, marketing, marketing technology, analytics, and employee privacy</li>
<li>Assist with continued development of the privacy program including data diligence, PIAs / DPIAs, policies and procedures, and training</li>
<li>Track and advise on emerging domestic and global privacy laws and regulatory developments</li>
<li>Collaborate with customer support, technology, security, and data teams to help address data requests, regulatory inquiries, and incident response</li>
<li>Serve as part of a global team of lawyers, paralegals, and staff helping Take-Two's game labels create the most innovative and creative products as efficiently as possible</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">WHAT YOU BRING</h2>
<ul><li>Commercially minded lawyer with 5&ndash;7 years of privacy experience, ideally in the consumer or technology space, mobile, or entertainment industries. Strong preference given to candidates with a combination of law firm and in-house experience</li>
<li>Extensive experience negotiating privacy contract terms in a variety of services (including user acquisition and ad monetization), and other commercial agreements</li>
<li>Experience with mobile, advertising technology, or digital technology</li>
<li>Experience advising clients on global privacy laws and enforcement trends, and the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical risk-based guidanceMust possess keen intellect, attention to detail, ability to effectively distill information, excellent communication and decision making skills, and the ability to influence and interact at all levels of the organization</li>
<li>Able to work cross-functionally dealing with urgent, confidential and highly-sensitive subject matter</li>
<li>Ability to independently own all / portions of projects and approach them with initiative</li>

The pay range for this position in New York at the start of employment is expected to be between $120,600 and $178,500 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. The annual salary for this position is between $132,000 &ndash; 161,700. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for bonus and RSUs.

The Role
We are looking for a senior attorney with extensive experience in global data privacy, cybersecurity, commercial deals in the technology space, and regulatory matters to join our U.S. office within our global legal department as the Global Data Privacy Counsel and U.S. and Canada Privacy Officer. You will advise the business on complex privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and emerging technology issues and play a leading role in designing, leading, and continuously improving our global data privacy program.
You will report to our US-based Deputy General Counsel and collaborate closely with a wide range of business leaders and stakeholders worldwide.

What You'll Do
Strategic Legal Counsel &amp; Business Partnership
Serve as a trusted strategic legal advisor to executive leadership, business unit and function heads, and the governance committees on global privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity risks, as well as opportunities aligned with rapid business growth and innovation.
Design, lead, and continuously evolve the global privacy and data protection program, ensuring it not only meets regulatory requirements but also supports scalable growth and competitive advantage in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Partner closely with product, technology, payments, data, software and hardware sales, marketing, and strategy teams to embed privacy-by-design and data governance principles into all data-driven and payment-related initiatives.
Advise on privacy, data protection, cross-border data processing, and emerging technologies (AI and machine learning), in connection with parking, public transport and other urban mobility technologies and data services (B2B, B2C), to help the company navigate these complex regulatory environments while accelerating innovation.
Balance risk management with enabling agility&mdash;help business units achieve their ambitious growth objectives without compromising compliance or customer trust.
Data Privacy Counsel &amp; Leadership
Lead and manage a global, unified privacy and data protection team, including the EU Data Protection Officer and EU Privacy Program Manager, and serve as the global privacy and data protection leader responsible for harmonizing privacy and data protection practices across all regions.
Act as the company&rsquo;s U.S. and Canada Privacy Officer, overseeing all U.S.-specific and Canada-specific aspects of the global privacy and data protection program.
Own enterprise-wide development, implementation, and continuous improvement of privacy and data protection policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with relevant global privacy and data protection-related regulations.

Lead and coordinate enterprise privacy incident response in collaboration with Information Security and senior leadership, minimizing legal risks and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders during an incident.

What You Will Bring:
Juris Doctor degree from a reputable, accredited U.S. law school.
Active license in good standing with one or more U.S. state bars (Georgia preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in data privacy and cybersecurity legal matters, with significant in-house experience at a high-growth, technology-driven company.
Deep expertise and knowledge of and hands-on experience with U.S. and international data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance laws and frameworks (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PCI-DSS, ISO certifications, and other relevant global standards) and leading-edge AI regulations and frameworks.
Demonstrated success in providing strategic legal counsel that balances risk management with enabling innovation and business growth, particularly in payments and data-driven initiatives.
Proven experience leading global privacy and data protection programs, including managing privacy and data protection risk frameworks and governance.

Job Description

This position provides specialist expert advice and program operations support on all aspects of privacy &amp; data protection to the Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) for Cloud Software Group. The role will help handle privacy reviews, data subject rights (DSR) requests, privacy-related inquiries, data processing agreement (DPA) escalations, and, in partnership with the CPO, help execute privacy program priorities.

The Senior Privacy, Data &amp; AI Governance Counsel is a key subject matter expert on US privacy, cybersecurity, data, and AI governance rules. They will work closely with key stakeholders across the Legal Commercial, Compliance, Procurement, Security, Product &amp; Engineering, IT, HR, Sales, and Marketing teams.

This position will help ensure that we minimize company privacy &amp; data protection risks by increasing compliance with privacy and data protection rules.

The position will also help demonstrate to customers, regulators, and the public that Cloud Software Group has its privacy, data &amp; AI governance house in order and can be trusted as a cloud service provider.

The successful candidate is comfortable balancing compliance and risk-minimization with business value-creation goals in their day-to-day work and a pragmatic, tech-savvy, and a solutions-oriented professional.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position&rsquo;s key duties and responsibilities include:

<li>Conducting privacy &amp; AI governance reviews of vendors, products, and internal programs involving the processing of personal data</li>
<li>
Handling and responding to data subject rights (DSR) requests and other privacy inquiries</li>
<li>
Maintaining and updating internal and external privacy and data protection policies, standards, guidance, and other documentation</li>
<li>
Creating customer-facing FAQs, data sheets, and other documentation related to Cloud Software Group&rsquo;s products and services&rsquo; personal data processing, to help customers conduct their own privacy review of our products and services</li>
<li>
Supporting audits, assessments, and certifications, including responding to customer privacy and security questionnaires and addressing common privacy-related questions</li>
<li>
Facilitating due diligence and transitions in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as needed</li>
<li>
Advising Sales &amp; Marketing teams on privacy &amp; data protection requirements relevant to sales and marketing activities, covering email marketing, telephone marketing, events marketing, online marketing, etc.</li>
<li>
Collaborating with other members of the Legal, Security, Engineering, Product, Marketing, HR, Sales, and other cross-functional teams</li>
<li>
Providing expert support in internal investigations, security incidents, and data breaches</li>
<li>
Monitoring privacy/data protection, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI governance laws and regulatory trends, developments, and industry best practices</li>
<li>
Driving internal training and awareness of Cloud Software Group's privacy/data protection, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI governance obligations
</li><li>Identifying awareness and training needs, providing expert input on global training program, and delivering privacy training, as needed</li>
<li>
Supporting the CPO in privacy program management and operations</li>

Required Qualifications

Qualified applicants must have:

<li>5+ years of full-time experience on privacy/data protection, data governance, and AI governance laws and program operations</li>
<li>
3+ years of experience in the tech industry, with at least 2+ years in the B2B tech industry</li>
<li>
2+ year conducting privacy &amp; AI governance reviews, including recommending appropriate risk-minimization controls</li>
<li>
Qualified US attorney</li>

We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (Privacy, Trust &amp; Partnerships) to join our team and provide critical legal support as we scale our embedded tax platform. This role is ideal for a strategic legal professional who thrives in fast-paced fintech environments and can navigate complex privacy, data security, and commercial partnership matters with confidence. You'll work directly with our leadership team to build trust with partners, mitigate risk, and enable growth through sound legal counsel. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
