The Role
 
As an Senior Process Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
</div><ul><li><div>P rovide specialist consulting process engineering expertise on projects related to both smelting and pyro-refining of a variety of base metals in particular copper, nickel, zinc, and lead processing, that delivers front-end studies, due diligence and asset optimization programs and trouble shooting client operational problems. 
</div></li><div></div><li>Lead and work collaboratively with a team in the development of Concept, PFS and FS Reports and sign off as a Qualified Person (QP).
</li><li>Lead and perform plant audits and due diligence assessments.
</li><li>Provide solutions to process optimization and debottlenecking analysis.
</li><li>Provide resolution to operational issues based on the vast Operations experience in Indian plants.
</li><li>Lead in the process development of design basis, process design criteria, process and utility flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment specifications, mass and energy balances using METSIM or other similar modeling programs, functional descriptions and control philosophy.
</li><li>Provide project innovation to our clients to improve asset value.
</li><li>Assist with project cost estimation including OPEX and Cash Flow modelling .
</li></ul>About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
<ul><li>A Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or B.Sc.
</li><li>15+ years of experience in the engineering of smelting and refining projects with an emphasis on base metals.
</li><li>Ideally will have plant operating or plant support experience.
</li><li>Outstanding ability to understand clients&rsquo; needs, identify opportunities and convert them into successful projects.
</li><li>Proven ability to perform due diligence, peer review and trade-off studies.
</li><li>Strong knowledge in smelting and refining for base metals including copper, nickel, zinc and lead (both Hydrometallurgical and Pyrometallurgical path).
</li><li>Proven ability to lead teams.
</li><li>Experience in using process simulation programs such as METSIM.
</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
</li><li>Extensive experience in Pyrometallurgical / Hydrometallurgical Operations in Indian plants is preferred which will enable to resolve operational issues.
