This is a HOT role in our brand-new Copper &amp; Brass Sales Division! You&rsquo;ll lead process improvements, optimize manufacturing methods, and drive efficiency in a high-impact environment.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Accountabilities</h3><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Solid background in Project Management, leading cross-functional teams in product launches</h3><ul><li>
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)</li><li>
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)</li><li>
Experience with Part Production Approval Process (PPAP)</li><li>
Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes through research, design, and collaboration with vendors and operators.</li><li>
Provide decision-making insights by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing schedules; and forecasting requirements.</li><li>
Prepare product and process reports by analyzing trends and data.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain product reputation.</li><li>
Keep equipment operational through proactive maintenance coordination and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.</li><li>
Oversee product and process databases, including programming and data entry.</li><li>
Drive process improvement initiatives, problem resolution, and employee training.</li><li>
Improve manufacturing methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.</li><li>
Maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.</li><li>
Assist in improving systems related to production control, SOPs, safety, and quality standards.</li><li>
May rotate shifts initially for training purposes.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3>
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Industrial Engieering/Manufacturing Technology preferred; Associate degree in Engineering discipline acceptable.</li><li>
5+ years of experience in a technical or manufacturing field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree).</li><li>
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design.</li><li>
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and self-motivate.</li><li>
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>
Proficiency in relevant software (CAD, SAP, MS Office).</li><li>
Solid project management skills.</li><li>
Strong communication skills and ability to manage fluctuating workloads independently.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
