Our Product Buyers Team:
<ul>
<li>Maintains inventory within company goals and minimizes stock-outs of A &amp; B items by effectively reviewing system generated daily purchasing report and applying independent judgment and decision making. Considers a variety of purchasing related decision factors, including but not limited to, lead time, mover code, pricing, customer requirements and sales history to modify or approve purchase orders.</li>
<li>Maintains system integrity by ensuring that TTI systems/databases reflect accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date product-related information (i.e. descriptions, increment quantity, minimum order quantities, correct costs, delivery information, etc.). Also, works closely with Product Operations or Product Manager to review and approve new part number set-ups and sequence legends.</li>
<li>Processes and resolves accounting, receiving and customer rejected concerns in an expeditious manner by researching the issue, determining appropriate resolution and by providing disposition for nonconforming product to the appropriate parties.</li>
<li>Ensures on-time delivery to customers from suppliers in a pro-active manner by contacting suppliers to expedite deliveries as needed.</li>
<li>Effectively supports Product Manager by providing assistance in all areas of Product Management as requested, including but not limited to, reviewing daily booking registers to obtain ship and debit authorizations, reviewing MRP/Bond reports and by processing inventory rotations per schedule. Position may provide back-up support in the absence of the Product Manager.</li>
<li>Effectively supports sales to increase business by providing assistance as requested, including but not limited to; processing hot buys, recommending substitutions, and pulling in orders.</li>
<li>Expands personal product knowledge to effectively support sales and to ensure personal growth opportunities.</li>

Education and Experience Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High School or General Education Degree (GED) required.
</li><li>Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.</li>
<li>One to three years of applicable work experience (i.e. working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment requiring ongoing problem solving/analytical skills) required.
</li><li>Direct applicable experience (e.g. replenishment buyer/specialist, inventory specialist, re-stock buyer, wholesale/retail buyer) strongly preferred.</li>

What is the opportunity? 
The Design Studio Manager is responsible for the management of the Design Studio and leadership of the

This position is responsible for working with the Buyer in setting the strategy for the assortment, pricing, promotion, planogram and marketing of categories to deliver to customer expectations and the financial plan. This position is also accountable for managing vendor relationships. 
What You'll be Doing:<ul><li>
Drive the strategic direction of their categories to align with the goals of the division to make Meijer the most compelling place for customers to shop by focusing on Assortment, Pricing, Brands, Marketing, and Store Presentation.</li><li>
Visit stores (both Meijer and competition) regularly to proactively understand assortments, pricing and store presentation.</li><li>
Utilize internal and external market information to anticipate trends and future customer needs to drive brand and item selection.</li><li>
Collaborate with Buyer and Merchandise Planning to develop the financial plan.</li><li>
Partner with Buyer to develop the overall direction and performance of merchandising categories.</li><li>
Drive the category review process and timeline and make recommendations based on analysis.</li><li>
Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to complete open-to-buy forecasts.</li><li>
Work with team to develop and approve master and version planograms.</li><li>

What is the opportunity?
The Design Studio Consultant position is responsible for guiding the buyer through the selection of Included Features and Available Personal Choices (options/upgrades), thoroughly and on-time, while adhering to company policies and procedures and representing the company by keeping in line with the builder&rsquo;s code of ethics, values, and mission statement. This position will Interact with other departments as needed (i.e. Purchasing, Marketing, Accounting, Conveyancing, Construction, Customer Care, etc.) and will be tasked with completing required paperwork accurately and timely. Proficiency with department specific technology is necessary. 
What are the primary responsibilities?<ul><li>
Assist Prospective Buyers/Home Buyers with Tours/Options Selections
