We are seeking a content-oriented product marketer who will illuminate our Flight Planning and Dispatch solutions to a skeptical customer base. Every commercial flight needs to be planned, dispatched, and tracked, and our customers are looking for every opportunity for efficiency and enhanced safety along the way. You would tell our story to the airline world and help them improve millions of airline flights! The ideal candidate has a track record of success in enterprise software product marketing and is an engaging communicator. Further, the ideal candidate has a record of successful collaboration with product management and sales to drive ACV growth.

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Asset creation: produce engaging written and video content that illustrates how our solutions make life easier for commercial airlines. You should be comfortable producing a thousand words a month of written assets, and 20-40 minutes of video content each year by yourself or through internal and external agencies.</li>
<li>Demand Generation: Partner with our Growth Marketing and sales team to plan and execute programs to generate leads, including the development of marketing campaigns, content, and digital strategies.</li>
<li>Sales Enablement: Provide sales with the tools and resources needed to effectively sell our products, especially pitch decks and concise competitive responses. Create messaging for specific personas and target customers.</li>
<li>Influencer and thought leadership: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an editorial calendar that gets our point-of-view communicated to the airline world, including ghost-writing articles and conducting written and video interviews on topics of importance to customers and investors.</li>
</ul>
Basic Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience as a product marketer or product manager for a B2B software company.</li>
<li>Portfolio of published product marketing assets for B2B software, such as blogs, videos, pitch decks, guides, brochures, or similar items.</li>
<li>Experience presenting and demonstrating B2B software products at customer events such as conferences, webinars, and trade shows.</li>
<li>Experience collaborating with teams to produce positioning statements, messaging, and competitive responses for B2B software.</li>
<li>Passion for improving airline safety and sustainability.</li>
<li>Experience using AI tools (like Claude, Seismic) to accelerate content creation.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills that demonstrate conciseness, creativity, and credibility.</li>
<li>Product marketing experience pitching complex enterprise software to skeptical audiences. Prior experience with ERP, workflow, or analytics is ideal.</li>
<li>Aviation experience is not mandatory, but it helps. If you don&rsquo;t have aviation experience, then you must be willing to immerse yourself in the world of airlines, especially how flight plans are created, aircraft dispatched, and how recovery from &ldquo;irregular ops&rdquo; happens.</li>

The role</h2>
As a product marketing manager at Watershed you will play a critical role in defining Watershed&rsquo;s messaging, positioning, audience segmentation, launch plans, and demand strategy for major product areas within our sustainability AI platform. For this role, you&rsquo;ll also specialize in developing expansion strategies to drive existing customer adoption of new products and features.
