 Reporting to the Executive Editor, The World and Local Productions, the Show Editor/Producer has a leading dual role responsible for shaping The World&rsquo;s editorial output - the overall shape and sound of the show. They are a standard-bearer in the newsroom, committed to innovative journalism and the highest standards of editorial integrity, actively seeking out and promoting diverse, new voices, ensuring that multi-media opportunities are maximized and that digital activities are integrated into the broadcast in fresh ways. Working in tandem with the Supervising Producer Editor, they alternate on a regular basis between show producing the broadcast and editing stories and copy, playing a key role on the daily production helping to conceive and shepherd the broadcast from editorial meeting to live on-air. They are responsible for &ldquo;the voice&rdquo; of the show, editing or writing all the host copy and more, paying close attention to the flow between stories and the continuity of the broadcast. Additionally, they will manage and oversee the work of producers or reporters.

 Responsibilities

 Share the responsibility to lead the daily production process, providing editorial guidance and leadership to the production team, and assist with preparing content for the live broadcast, including scripting host intros, tags, and promotional materials.

About the Role 
 
The Creative Studio Assistant Editor is a full-time position responsible for assisting in the post production of the Creative Studio's sponsored content. This role centers around organizing production media, preparing it for editing, conforming edits for finishing, as well as exporting final deliverables. JOB DESCRIPTION</h2>
TMZ is looking for a Editor to work in our fast-paced, TV news production environment. This role is responsible for editing content for multiple television shows as well as other creative projects. The Editor prepares and edits video procured from multiple sources for broadcast and website publication. It is vital for this person to be an engaging storyteller, who can produce (preditor) and piece together interesting stories within extremely tight daily deadlines. Must be highly proficient with Adobe Premiere, a Mac and PC user, and should be comfortable with basic aspects of computing, including Slack, MS Office Suite and navigating the internet. This position reports into the Supervising Producer and is located in Los Angeles, CA.<div> 
Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>Produce and edit video content daily with Adobe Premiere (with editorial sense/judgment/direction)</li><li>Cut and export video images in Photoshop</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul> 

Requirements:
