The Video Production Intern will observe and assist the Seattle Seahawks Video Production team with the daily management and production of the organization&rsquo;s video content. This position will also assist in management of the organization&rsquo;s other content when needed.<br>
By the end of the internship, the intern will have received first-hand experience in video production for gameday, content production for digital media platforms and videography in a collaborative team and departmental environment. The intern will be expected to learn and take feedback heavily throughout the experience and extensive resources will be available to facilitate the edification process at the intern&rsquo;s initiative.<br>
<b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </b>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>
This internship's workload will be divided as follows: 75% video production, 20% asset management, 5% other digital media/game entertainment tasks</li><li>
Act as web videographer for press conferences and press events</li><li>
Produce, shoot and edit video packages</li><li>
Setup and teardown of live webcasts</li><li>
Assist with the asset management process for photos and video</li><li>
Work with internal and external stakeholders on video production projects</li><li>
Work with internal departments (Public Relations, Community Outreach, Game Entertainment and Marketing) in fulfilling digital media needs as requested</li><li>
Expected to work both home and away games including weekends and evenings</li></ul><b>

 The iDeas Lab, the award-winning creative and digital production department at CSIS, seeks highly motivated and creative candidates for a full-time, six-month multimedia production internship with our dynamic and fast-paced team in Washington D.C. beginning early May 2026. Responsibilities will focus primarily on video production assignments, as well as audio production for our suite of podcasts.

 The iDeas Lab enhances CSIS's policy research and analysis with the latest in audio, video, design, and web products. You can see some of our work here or on YouTube. The iDeas Lab is a creative environment made up of three major sub-teams - video/audio production, web development, and design. We are a highly collaborative team and often use our skills and passion in many different creative arenas.

 The multimedia production intern will primarily support the multimedia producers while also working with the other iDeas Lab sub-teams, supporting a range of creative efforts across the spectrum of CSIS issue areas. We are looking for a creative, energetic, self-starter who has a passion for video and a strong desire to experience the many different facets and phases of digital media production. The multimedia production intern will work closely with the entire department on creative projects that partner with some of the most respected foreign policy experts and researchers in the world to tell compelling public policy stories.

 The internship is structured to provide aspiring professionals with practical experience and hard-skill building, and to add content to their professional portfolios.

 The hired candidate will be paid hourly, commensurate with experience ($18.00/hour for current undergraduate hires, $19.00/hour for hires with a bachelor&rsquo;s degree, and $20.00/hour for hires with a master&rsquo;s degree).

 Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

 Responsibilities will focus primarily on video production assignments, as well as audio production for our suite of podcasts. The iDeas Lab enhances CSIS's policy research and analysis with the latest in audio, video, design, and web products.

   Serve as a primary video editor for CSIS vertical videos and video podcast episodes using Adobe Premiere and Riverside
  </li>
  <li>
   Support studio set-up and edit interviews for long-form video
  </li>
  <li>
   Source B-roll and music for CSIS video products, and conduct pre-production research as needed
  </li>
  <li>
   Edit full-length podcast episodes and other audio features using Adobe Audition
  </li>
  <li>
   Track and compile metrics for various iDeas Lab products
  </li>
  <li>
   Capture photography for CSIS events and congressional hearings as needed
  </li>
  <li>
   Additional tasks, as needed

   B.A./B.S in relevant field (or rising senior);
  </li>

   Adobe Suite experience a plus;

   Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through skills
  </li>
