 Job Purpose
 
 
 
 The Production Manager is the Plant Manager&rsquo;s primary execution partner for all production and packaging operations at the Dammam plant. The role is accountable for translating approved supply plans into safe, efficient, and quality-compliant production output across all lines, delivering volume commitments, schedule adherence, OEE improvement, and waste reduction in direct support of the plant&rsquo;s cost-per-case and service targets.
 
 
 The Production Manager leads the shift and line leadership team, drives daily performance routines, and escalates structural constraints and risks to the Plant Manager for enterprise-level resolution. The role does not carry primary D365 system ownership &mdash; that accountability sits with the Plant Manager &mdash; but is responsible for accurate and disciplined execution of production transactions within the system.

 A. Production Planning &amp; Schedule Execution

 Convert approved supply and IBP plans into stable daily and weekly production schedules in coordination with the Planning team.

 Manage line allocation, shift patterns, changeover sequencing, and resource deployment to maximise throughput and minimise downtime.

 Identify and resolve short-term constraints (material, labour, equipment) and escalate medium-term risks to the Plant Manager.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Coordinates production processes and activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Purchasing &amp; Production Manager to oversee material procurement, vendor relationships, and assist with production scheduling for our growing design-build landscaping division.

This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands construction and landscaping operations, and can effectively coordinate between design, field crews, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing &amp; Vendor Management
<ul>
<li>Source and procure all materials for landscaping and hardscaping projects (plants, stone, pavers, lighting, irrigation, etc.)</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional vendors</li>
<li>Negotiate pricing, track cost fluctuations, and identify cost-saving opportunities</li>
<li>Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to meet production schedules</li>
<li>Maintain accurate purchase orders and inventory tracking systems</li>
</ul>
Production &amp; Scheduling
<ul>
<li>Assist with weekly and long-term production schedules across multiple crews</li>
<li>Develop and manage Gantt schedules to coordinate crews, materials, and project timelines, ensuring jobs are completed on time and within budget</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure smooth project handoffs</li>
<li>Align labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime</li>
<li>Monitor project timelines and proactively adjust schedules as needed</li>
<li>Ensure all jobs are set up for success prior to crew mobilization</li>
</ul>
Budgeting &amp; Cost Control
<ul>
<li>Track job costs related to materials and production</li>
<li>Work with leadership to maintain target profit margins</li>
<li>Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements</li>
<li>Assist in estimating support as needed (material takeoffs, vendor pricing)</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in landscaping, construction, or production management</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, hardscaping, and installation processes preferred</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Experience with purchasing, vendor negotiation, and scheduling</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or CRM software is a plus</li>
