ABOUT THIS JOB:
The Production Operations Manager sits between Production and the Warehouse, making sure Producer paperwork is clear, complete, and ready for the warehouse to pull, prep, and execute. They keep information, equipment, and expectations aligned across a high volume of events&hellip; reviewing warehouse orders, managing rentals, and resolving issues directly with Producers before sending out to the event site. They also serve as the primary link between Production and the Warehouse, ensuring clear communication and flagging issues early so both teams can execute with confidence.
The Production Operations Manager will be responsible for owning the operational lane between production (responsible for the technical design of GL events and generating the pick-pack pull lists for the warehouse) and the warehouse (pulls, pack, QC, and fabrication from producer&rsquo;s paperwork) . They will be the connective tissue between what Production designs and what the Warehouse executes. Their job is to keep information, materials, and expectations flowing smoothly so nothing falls through the cracks between those two worlds.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Equipment Logistics:<ul><li>
Confirm equipment availability, flag conflicts, and keep gear moving smoothly across a high volume of events.</li><li>
Work closely with the Inventory Manager to complete the event equipment purchasing process, including procurement, delivery tracking, receipt, testing, and determining where the gear lives after the event. Ensure new assets are entered into the system and that producers, sales, and the field team always have accurate information about availability.</li></ul>
Rental &amp; Sub-Vendor Coordination<ul><li>
Manage all sub-rental logistics, including delivery, returns, damage claims, and discrepancy resolution.</li></ul>
Production Order QC:<ul><li>
Review a high volume of production orders before dispatching to the warehouse team, resolving conflicts or discrepancies as needed.</li><li>
Serve as a key checkpoint for quality and clarity, ensuring the warehouse can execute with confidence based on accurate, complete information.</li></ul>
Producer/Warehouse Interface:<ul><li>
Act as the primary point of contact between Production and the Warehouse, translating production intent into clear information the warehouse team can pull, prep, and load effectively.</li><li>
Identify operational friction points between teams and help resolve them before they become bottlenecks.</li><li>
Document processes that work, flag gaps in the workflow, and continually improve how the production-to-warehouse pipeline operates as the company grows.</li><li>
Attend weekly Production &amp; Warehouse related meetings as needed</li></ul><div> 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
Industry Experience:</div><ul><li>
Live event or theater management experience is a requirement.</li><li>
Experience in logistics, operations, or production coordination is preferred, ideally in a setting with heavy equipment handling.</li><li>

You will work directly with with the Plant Manager to ensure timely and efficient production.IMPORTANT: This position is based in Seattle, however you will be responsible for assisting in our production manufacturing plants (Seattle and Newark, CA) and some travel is required.Qualifications<ul><li>Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.</li><li>Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.</li><li>Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays</li><li>Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations.</li><li>Implement production tracking/quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.</li><li>Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.</li><li>Prepare and maintain production reports or personnel records</li><li>Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality</li><li>Ensure all materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets</li><li>Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs</li><li>Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Associates in Business Management or Manufacturing or an equivalent of experience and education combined.</li><li>5 + years of manufacturing experience</li><li>3+ years of management and supervisory skills</li><li>Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, controls etc.</li><li>Advanced math and basic computer skills</li><li>Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, DC drives, AC drives, Electrical and Electrical controls etc.</li><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions</li><li>Demonstrated time management and planning skills</li><li>Strong verbal communication</li><li>Excellent listening skills</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team</li><li>High level of integrity and work ethic</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Construction industry experience and knowledge</li><li>Previous experience in cold rolled steel products</li></ul>Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience with machinery including hydraulics and pneumatics?</li><li>Do you have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience?</li><li>Do you have 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience?</li><li>Can you travel when needed (not a lot of travel but there will be some)</li><li>Do you have any previous experience in cold rolled steel products (not a requirement but is a plus)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
