What you will do at Precinct One</b></div><div>
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Camp Program Instructor to lead environmental education activities for young children, ages 5 to 13, at our youth summer program, Discovery Camp. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nature and the environment, with the ability to inspire and engage children in hands-on learning experiences. As a key part of our team, you will guide campers through exciting outdoor activities, nature walks, and educational lessons that promote environmental awareness and stewardship.</div><div></div><div><br>
Curriculum and training will be provided, including first aid and CPR certification. Selected applicants may start as soon as May 26th 2026, or as agreed upon to begin course planning and cover other administrative duties. Courses will be taught in-person at the Peoria Campus of Illinois Central College. Students take 4 courses each day between 9am - 3pm, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, Field Trips on Wednesdays, and 9am-12pm on Fridays for 6 weeks. Instructor schedules are negotiable.
