ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our technical delivery team. This is a hands-on role spanning the full project lifecycle &mdash; from pre-sales Proof-of-Concept (PoC) environments and solution design through to deployment, integration, and post-go-live support across enterprise customer environments.
You will be the technical authority on network security engagements, working directly with customers onsite and remotely to deliver firewall deployments, policy migrations, network segmentation programmes, and secure access solutions. You will also contribute to our managed network security service, where ongoing policy management, health monitoring, and incident escalation are part of the scope.
The role requires deep expertise in at least one major firewall vendor ecosystem, strong networking fundamentals, and the confidence to lead technical conversations and produce customer-ready documentation independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Design, deploy, and configure next-generation firewalls (NGFW) across enterprise customer environments &mdash; including Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet FortiGate, and Cisco platforms.</li><li>
Design, build, and execute PoC environments for prospective customers during the pre-sales stage &mdash; defining success criteria, standing up the solution, running demonstrations, and producing outcome reports to support deal progression.</li><li>
Develop key project deliverables: High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), project plans, firewall ruleset documentation, and network security policy frameworks.</li><li>
Perform firewall policy reviews, rule base optimisations, and security posture assessments &mdash; identifying unnecessary exposure, rule bloat, and misconfigurations in existing customer environments.</li><li>
Configure and manage site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions &mdash; IPSec, SSL/TLS, and zero trust network access integrations.</li><li>
Implement network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies &mdash; designing zone-based architectures, DMZ configurations, and east-west traffic controls.</li><li>
Deploy and tune Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), URL filtering, application control, SSL inspection, and threat prevention profiles.</li><li>
Integrate network security platforms with SIEM, SOAR, and log management infrastructure &mdash; ensuring relevant telemetry flows to the SOC for monitoring and alerting.</li><li>
Configure and support SD-WAN solutions and their integration with cloud-delivered security services where applicable.</li><li>
Support integration of SASE/SSE platforms (Zscaler, Netskope, or similar) alongside or in place of traditional perimeter controls where customer architecture demands it.</li><li>
Conduct technical workshops, customer onboarding sessions, and knowledge transfer with customer network teams post-deployment.</li><li>
Produce thorough as-built documentation and operational runbooks suitable for customer sign-off and ongoing managed service handover.</li><li>
Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot complex network security issues, and act as technical escalation during the warranty and stabilisation phase.</li><li>
Contribute to internal delivery standards, PoC playbooks, and best-practice guides as the network security practice matures.</li></ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MUST-HAVE)<ul><li>
4&ndash;8 years of hands-on experience in network security or network engineering roles, with a strong delivery track record in enterprise environments.</li><li>
Deep practical expertise with at least one major NGFW platform &mdash; Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS), Fortinet (FortiOS), or Cisco (FTD/ASA) &mdash; including design, deployment, and advanced feature configuration.</li><li>
Strong networking fundamentals: routing (BGP, OSPF, static), switching, VLANs, NAT, QoS, spanning tree, and packet-level troubleshooting.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with VPN technologies &mdash; IPSec IKEv1/v2, SSL VPN, and remote access architectures.</li><li>
Practical knowledge of network security architecture principles &mdash; zone design, least privilege, defence-in-depth, and perimeter versus zero trust models.</li><li>
Experience performing firewall policy reviews and rule optimisation in live customer environments.</li><li>
Ability to develop HLDs, LLDs, and customer-facing documentation to a professional standard independently.</li><li>

 Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Civil and Fit-Out projects, maintenance and on demand requests. Oversee a junior mechanical engineer and a mechanical inspector</li><li>Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, quality and the like.</li><li>Continually review the contractor&rsquo;s construction schedule during the progress of site works.</li><li>Review Contractor&rsquo;s shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to project manager with appropriate comments / approval.</li><li>Prepare Site Material request and send to the Main office to prepare LPOs.</li><li>Follow up the Material Delivery with the suppliers .</li><li>Review contractor&rsquo;s mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise project manager accordingly</li><li>Review Contractor&rsquo;s mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the Project Manager on the appropriateness of the proposals.</li><li>Review Contractor&rsquo;s proposed sub-contractor(s) associated with the structural engineering works from a technical standpoint.</li><li>Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractor&rsquo;s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant&rsquo;s specification, good working practices, the construction schedule and health &amp; safety.</li><li>Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.</li><li>Undertake prior review of Contractor&rsquo;s proposed mechanical system testing &amp; commissioning methods and schedule</li><li>Review and comment on Contractor&rsquo;s testing and commissioning results and advise Project Manager accordingly</li><li>Undertake final project snagging and prepare list of defects for Contractor&rsquo;s action.</li><li>Prepare draft site / engineer&rsquo;s instructions, relating to the building mechanical services, as required and issue to the Project Manager.</li><li>Review of Operation and Maintenance manuals.</li></ul>Requirement :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8 &ndash; 10 years Mechanical Site Engineer ( HVAC ) experience in the construction sector with at least 4 years in a managerial role on large-scale projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery.4+ years experience in HVAC works .4+ years experience in HAP , heat load calculation and MEP Design .Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering?</li><li>Do you have 4-5 years Mechanical Site Engineer ( HVAC ) experience in the construction sector with at least 4 years in a managerial role on large-scale projects ?</li></ul>Work Location: In person

 You&rsquo;ll Be Responsible For

 Provides accurate and timely administration and information management by coordinating and organising the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by project, design teams/consultants and subcontractors on a project/s.

 Ensures information is managed in accordance with Mace procedures and the procedures for the system in use.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages the onboarding of Mace staff and external parties to the project system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures all new documents arriving on the system are quality checked as per standard procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Creates, manages and updates distribution groups to ensure information flows to the correct organisations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains the project work package matrix and assign documents accordingly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Processes in app reports as required by the project team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administers user access and permissions for the project system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures key processes such as the Request For Informatioin (RFI) process are working in accordance with the procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

 Degree qualification.

 Expert in EDMS platforms including Aconex, SharePoint and MS Office Suite.

 Proven knowledge of project workflows, documentation processes and industry best practice.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
