Job Purpose &amp; Scope:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager (Design) to join our team! In this role you will get to provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations..
What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including development of scope, budgets, schedules, resource plans, and implementation strategies.</li><li>
Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact, ensuring project requirements, expectations, and deliverables are met.</li><li>
Monitor project performance, resources, budgets, and schedules, implementing corrective actions to address risks and challenges.</li><li>
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities to ensure efficient project delivery.</li><li>
Lead project staffing, team development, performance management, and mentoring of direct reports.</li><li>
Lead project planning and controls, including budgets, schedules, risk management, change management, and recovery strategies to address project challenges.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and company quality management systems while promoting technical and commercial excellence.</li><li>
Manage project documentation, reporting, change control, and contract variations, including negotiation of scope changes with clients and subcontractors.</li><li>
Chair project meetings, provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of project activities and performance.</li><li>
Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional services and maintaining strong client relationships.</li><li>
Review bid documents and support procurement and tendering activities as required.</li><li>
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for project personnel to develop high-performing teams.</li><li>
Perform other project management duties necessary to ensure successful project completion</li></ul>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field from a recognized university.</li><li>
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in roads and infrastructure design projects.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years as Project Manager experience managing multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>
Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure design projects within budget and schedule constraints.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract administration, and commercial management.</li><li>
Robust understanding of design delivery of infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, utilities, drainage, public realm, and associated civil works.</li><li>
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and client-facing skills.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.</li><li>
Must be Abu Dhabi experienced.</li></ul> 
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:<ul><li>
Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).</li><li>
Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region.</li><li>
Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval processes.</li><li>
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.</li><li>
Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and international project teams.</li></ul>
