 Join our offshore project team and contribute to survey and positioning activities for a major EPC offshore project in Qatar.

 Your Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>

 Work within the Project Team and assist in identifying the best technical survey solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define positional, angular, and dimensional accuracy requirements and communicate positioning limitations to Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in tender and contract evaluations and support survey-related proposals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan offshore survey operations and compile survey documentation, procedures, and scopes of work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Determine overall Survey and Positioning methodologies for project execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review engineering documents and technical requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define survey personnel manning levels and equipment requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with ROV teams to ensure appropriate equipment selection and task execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare survey and positioning costs, budgets, and requisitions for rented survey equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the focal point for survey and positioning matters and offshore survey personnel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage survey subcontractors and monitor progress to prevent non-conformities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform Quality Control and approve subcontractor survey operations and reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure correct survey deliverables and data formats, and supervise office-based reporting and charting activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and QC as-built data and final reports through the complete review cycle.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain records related to survey and positioning costs and budgets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support tendering phases, including review of tender budgets prior to operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in preparing survey and positioning service agreements and quality documents.
 </li>

 Maintain awareness of new survey technologies that may enhance operations.
 </li>

 Perform all activities in compliance with company procedures, HSE policies, and work instructions.

 Your Profile:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, Geosciences, or a related technical discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven practical experience in Survey and Positioning activities within offshore operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with geophysical and geotechnical surveys, data acquisition, and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage survey instrumentation, calibration, and environmental effect assessments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of survey tools such as GNSS, Total Station, Theodolite, Laser Scanner, and Optical Level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Capability to perform subsea pipeline and survey data processing using appropriate software tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of maritime works phases and offshore construction techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in subcontractor management, monitoring quantities and costs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of HSE risk management, Permit to Work systems, and safe working practices.

Job Description 
This role as a Senior Project Surveyor within the AECOM&rsquo;s pre-contact cost consulting team will provide the right individual an environment which they can thrive and develop into a leader for the future.
They will work across a wide range of projects and end markets, giving the candidate exposure to many asset types, procurement routes and major UAE clients.
As a Senior Project Surveyor, you will be expected to plan work requested by other senior staff members and coordinate with Leadership to meet the timescales requested or advise where the timescales cannot be met and suggest mitigation strategies.
Whilst pre-contract biased, some exposure to post-contract works and experience in the construction phase will be beneficial. 
 
Main Duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>
Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a project.</li><li>
Accountable for briefing the team on the project scope to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.</li><li>
Leading deliverables and task such as feasibility estimates, cost plans, procurement strategies, BOQs, tender analysis reports and contract awards.</li><li>
Leading a team to carry out measurement activities within the office.</li><li>
Leading value engineering and value management initiatives.</li><li>
Leading by example and creating an inclusive work environment.</li><li>
Ability to develop and understand benchmarking data.</li><li>
Manages the resources on a project within the established budget.</li><li>
Monitors and manages the performance of Project Surveyors and other direct reports.</li><li>
Ensures all deliverables comply with the AECOM Project Delivery System.</li><li>
Coordinating with senior staff to allocate adequate resources to complete tasks to the timescale required.</li><li>
Under limited supervision, normally receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.</li></ul> 

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in this field.</li><li>
Must have a QS or Engineering or similar degree.</li><li>
Must have pre-contract experience within a consultancy.</li><li>
Must have extensive exposure to cost planning at all stages.</li><li>
